#pafc it’s one league game and we know from last season not to knee-jerk. But I think Cleverley has been really let down. Again, it’s important to not catastrophise and go over the top because the owner has put so much time and money into the club but there are so many questions that need answers. The fans forums are so poor. And so contradictory. Previously when challenging the cost of the women’s team coming from season ticket money etc we were told cost was minimal. Now we’re told 500k loss. Both can’t be true. We were told the Tolaj money went to keep Baidoo. What absolute rubbish. The bloke was on our wage bill whether we liked it or not. After that loan last year there was hardly a queue for him. So Baidoo was here whether Tolaj went or not. We are told to be happy because James Brent’s league one side had a smaller squad. It also didn’t lose £11m but that wasn’t mentioned. We are told the manager is happy with the squad size. Of course he isn’t. He’s not an idiot. He’s being loyal like the club were loyal to him. But fans aren’t stupid. It insults our intelligence to present this squad as having enough depth to go the whole season. Evans will be a good player for Argyle I am sure but we should be in the mix for a talisman not just a grafter. The basis of a good squad is there. The support of the fans is unbelievable. Go get us someone like Wareham or that standard of player and get the belief going again. Also side note - we can’t go on each year with our pre season being Bristol City and a charity tour of local teams. It doesn’t get us ready. Up the Argyle.
