🚨 Hilton Silver status with Uber Black 3 months of Hilton Silver and a Rs 150 off Not going to bother Like I keep saying some status is better than no status; if you have a Hilton status, this is a decent promotion. 👍

🚨 Making sense of RG - Rent payments RG increased the fee to 2.95% which makes it DOA now. However for M4B, it still makes sense. Subject to: - Up to Rs 50k rent - AEP month - Still have group A quota 😛 (but even makes sense for Group B for the right redemption) There are other better ways to pay and even cheaper ways if your rent amount is less
🚨 RedGirraffe is BACK. But the old rent-payment playbook is DEAD. 🌟Convenience Fee: 0.46% → 2.95% 🌟PayZapp route: GONE I dug into the entire process. Here's what has changed, and why I'm struggling to find a card that still makes sense. Here’s how the new process works: 👇 Step 1: Verification & Landlord Consent 1️⃣ My old registration wasn't working, so I had to complete the verification process again. 2️⃣ RG confirmed that landlord consent is mandatory. 3️⃣ When I asked how to obtain consent, the RG team manually emailed the landlord's registered email address. 4️⃣ The landlord had to click the verification link received over email. Step 2: Getting the Pay Option Enabled 5️⃣ Even after the landlord's verification, the Pay option remained disabled. 6️⃣ I had to contact RG again, after which they enabled it following additional backend verifications. ⚠️ Important: Fresh registrations will also have to go through the same process. Cumbersome? Absolutely. But since this should be a one-time process, let's say we can live with it. Now comes the real bummer 💀 ❌ Convenience fee has jumped from 0.46% to 2.95%. That's a massive increase. ❌ You can no longer add RedGirraffe as a biller on PayZapp. Payments have to be made through the RG dashboard. This means the Infinia / BizBlack rent payment strategy is gone. I've attached a screenshot showing the payment options available on the RG dashboard. My take: At a 2.95% convenience fee, I don't see a single card that makes sense for rent payments via RedGirraffe anymore. Not even Magnus Burgundy. RedGirraffe is back. But the math has changed completely. Are you still going to use RedGirraffe? If yes, WHY? 👇

🚨 Rent pay with RG is back! - But not the way it was Fees are now 2.95%, which is steep compared 0.58% that we paid before There are other ways to pay rent cheaper, and what should we do with the cashback points? Buy vouchers with 5% discount?

🚨 Amex - Marriott transfer bonuses in the past I think Amex has pretty much given up in India and today is a good time to have a refresher 😛 The Marriott bonus, if it came at all, never was every year. The past bonuses: ▪️ 2019 - October 6 to 31 ➡️ 50% bonus ▪️ 2022 - September 1 to October 31 ➡️ 30% bonus ▪️ 2023 - November 16 to December 15 ➡️ 30% bonus ▪️ 2025 - February 17 to April 16 ➡️ 10% bonus and limited to Platinum Charge card and capped to 25k points
When will Amex's 30% bonus to Marriott come? I still get a lot of questions about this, and it is amazing how many still think it is a feature of the Amex card to have a transfer bonus every year. My last poll indicated 88% of the folks expecting a bonus! 😀 See the past transfer bonuses (attached post) in the past and it was never every year. However this year there have been no transfer bonuses (baring the 10% to Cathay earlier this year) involving Amex. There was a Qatar and Marriott bonus last year. Only transfer Amex points if you have any redemption, as the points do not expire. I hope there is a transfer bonus as I have some points and can make use of it. 😉

🚨 Pay credit card bills at Re 1 per SC With the SC bonus transfer offers many are asking where to transfer There is no point in SAS/Avios unless one has a specific redemption in mind Accor and ITC aren’t good options. ITC can be atleast considered if green points redemption is attractive. ✅ Best option is to pay CC bills with SC for 5% value of CC bill at Re 1 if not having a specific goal in mind
🚨 Pay credit card bills with SBI debit card points! SBI Rewardz had previously stopped this but now we have an option! Via GoSats app 👍 0.5% payment via SuperCoins Transfer Rewardz point to SuperCoin voucher

🚨 Get air miles for paying credit card bills! SBI Rewardz is having Supercoins vouchers which is redeemable 4:1 (standard ratio) Checked now they they don’t have Apay but only ASV vouchers so this is a great way to redeem Going to convert to Avios to the max possible! 🤩

🚨 Loan against securities is a boon in markets like now I initially posted about LAS in March 2026 Instant access to money, and one can invest when the market goes down. Bought in the last couple of days and hope market falls more! 😛 ⚠️ Not investment advice.
🚨 Loan against securities is a great product! Got a 9.5% interest rate for ICICI LAS product with a low processing fee and no foreclosure fees 👍 This is an OD loan, and you're charged interest only on the amount you use. So don't compare it with a personal loan. Money comes instantly! But the best part is our investments are not disturbed and any corporate actions (dividends, bonus/split, etc) still come to us 👍 Any doubts? Comment

🚨 Flipkart SuperCoins to ITC at 1:1 ratio! A new addition at 1:1 till November 8: ITC! 🚀 Remember that ITC is no longer with Axis so this becomes one way to earn ITC points. That said I prefer to still transfer to Avios only. ITC gives Re 1 but we can aim for better value with Avios particularly for premium cabins
🚨 Flipkart Supercoins now is having bonus transfers SAS/Avios at 1:1 and Accor at 2:1 🚀 Till November 8 I’m getting Avios to the max possible 👍

We still use Rentenpe With the Pro Pass it drops to less than 2% xitter.cf/PointsPro/status/20620…
🚨 Rent paying experience with RentenPe Ever since the end of RG, was looking for a way to pay rent with credit card. RentenPe does this and I have done two payments through them. Here is my experience 👇 🔸 Fees: They charge a hefty 2.7% fees (2.25+GST) Plus banks have restrictions (extra 1.2% fees or no rewards, etc) 🔸 Which card? These two make sense: 1️⃣ M4B (4.8% rewards and 14% on AEP) 2️⃣ Premier (3% rewards but 6.6% on Accor and possibly bonus transfer) Both Axis and HSBC charge 1.2% extra fees so we would barely come out ahead. You can DYOR for other cards (where we get milestones or there is a spend based offer etc) 🔸 Pro Pass: There are two passes and after the charges you pay, the fees drops to ~1.9% onwards So would recommend getting the pro pass. 🔸 Checks They actually did a physical verification for the house! And of course need a valid rent agreement, PAN number, etc. Even after the fees, it makes sense if you have the right card. 👍 Use my referral code: Fe5kNT if you wish to sign up.

🚨 Transfer between Avios partners is instant Best transfer ratio is on Finnair (HDFC and Flipkart) but mostly Qatar or BA would have the best redemption All details (name, contact details) should match Transfer to/from Qatar is via BA ⚠️ We may have to use VPN otherwise it doesn’t work normally

🚨 Amex to Accor in 4:1 ratio - good value? I think we should stop seeing everything through an Accor lens Why settle for bad ratios? ❌ Axis to Accor via JAL ❌ Amex to Accor via SC This Accor boat has sailed Try for a HSBC card if Accor is important 👍
🚨 Flipkart Supercoins now is having bonus transfers SAS/Avios at 1:1 and Accor at 2:1 🚀 Till November 8 I’m getting Avios to the max possible 👍
