I think owning the distribution matters way more than tech in the age of AI unless the tech is Elon level. from what we can see, pump is incorporating all the new features their competitors have found a product market fit and beat everyone. the true moat is in the cognitive load of users having to change to a new platform, which is near impossible unless the product is at least an order of magnitude better, you'd know if you have ever taught ur grandma how to use a phone.

i was just reading about a post on how to articulate well, and one thing it mentions is to practicing writing (pretty obvious answer) and writing is the main form of how you persuade people (through articles or threads as such). then i thought about comedian, humor is also a language and it probably is one of the most powerful language. Comedian can slip in any idea and blend it with humor and make us agree with him/her subconsciously later on. we can master articulation through writing and talking, how do we master humor I wonder.

I think we may actually have a cognition revival because of AI. The more i use AI, the more I have to think, because when i am asking questions, i am essentially taking on the cognitive load to figure out what are the right questions, which means what i am actually trying to find out. In doing that, the problem is already half solved, do it a thousand times, I will have way stronger ability to think and formulate my questions.

To continue my thought process, doesn't it mean some meme paired with stock token is going to be billion dollar home run? Surely that has to be the case for exchanges that understand meme culture, i think now that coinbase has @cobie , it is worth paying attention to. Robinhood and binance for sure on the list, i think solana is very weakened without CEXes support and intense competition from all other chains, OKX is just stubborn in that regard unless @star_okx views meme paired with stock tokens is different from pure meme, becuase star is never changing his view on meme, so the only way it works for okx is if star views the combo different fundamentally.

I actually think launchpad is going to be the kingmaker this cycle, primarily because the chain itself needs the launchpads that offer rwa pair with meme to distribute its own tokenised stocks, which is a direction every giant exchanges are pushing towards. so launchpads might reach valuation beyond comprehension and the exchanges are going to list the launchpad exchange without a doubt. there is a few i am paying attention to.

damn, @RayDalio just mentioned $btc alongside gold, he has previously said many times about only 1% allocation to btc in the portfolio. But his answer here seems way more bullish than just 1%. I wonder if he has changed his view.

as someone who's born and raised in hong kong, I have come to realise how fortunate it is to grow up here. I specifically appreciate how slow hong kong moves, which makes sense for us who live in Hong Kong, because our society benefits hugely from regulatory arbitrage, therefore, even by just maintaining the old way of doing things, we still get rich, so what is the point to take on cognition load and do things the new way. for example, some banks still use spreadsheet manually, also content creator economy has been very prevalent in many places, yet in a place as rich as hong kong is, it's just starting to heat up (more young ppl generating videos on instagram). there are infinitely more opportunities in places that are super rich and slow, and Hong Kong even enjoys regulatory arbitrage on top. I love Hong Kong man.
