Evidenced Based Policy, not selective use of facts. Exposing anti-people policy as an act of protest.

I’ll be checking back each day for election result changes in Oregon but the daily series of tweets about Oregon policies will be on hold while we research the November ballot hopefuls and current petitions. Stay tuned!

Resurrecting old controversies? I think the polls may be looking very blue. This is an administration who is counting their days.

President Lula states that he will "go all out" against Meta, saying that Brazil will not accept a foreign company negatively influencing Brazilians and humanity with a "digital empire."

No public retraction of the error is nasty work @CBSNews
After Angie called out CBS, they deleted the video. The media continues to manipulate people, and somehow, people keep falling for it.

Brandi is literally describing herself in this tweet. 😂
Tina acts like she did something brave. All she did is direct the extremists to attack us, gave them the tools to do so, then sat back and pouted.

Breaking news: maga republican lies to earn votes much like most famous maga republican
I recently spoke with a 70-year-old man who lives in a 30-foot trailer with his wife. Their monthly utility bill used to be $75. Today, it’s $400. That’s more than 5x what they used to pay. Oregonians cannot afford to keep living like this. As governor, I will freeze utility rates and fight to bring costs down.

Obama endorsing a very open DSA member is a bit of a big deal
Today, I’m honored to share that President Obama is supporting our campaign for the U.S. Senate. President @BarackObama & I both started as organizers in our communities, because we immediately understood that real changes come from regular folks joining the fight. #AngieForFlorida

It’s so funny to me that @BrandiKruse is so brain broken at this she is viewing anti-Nazi speech as being similar to discrimination by gender identity. She tries so hard to be a victim every day. It’s actually embarrassing to know we’ve breathed the same air.
These are the shirts allowed for the @ThornsFC fans. None of them were removed. They have chants about burning people alive. Fans assaulted multiple people wearing @xx_xyathletics shirts. None of them were removed. I am quite literally in shock.

Mind you, a woman was beaten for wearing a “release the Epstein files” shirt and then escorted out by police. Transphobes have fewer emotional regulation skills than infants.
The DOJ has entered the chat.

This is the power of a community using their voice. We were proud to stand with our neighbors and remind the commissioners that data centers are not something “we can and we should” have in our community. The people of Clackamas County made their position clear. 👇
After two public hearings drew substantial community participation, the Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously this morning to proceed with a temporary moratorium on data center development in unincorporated #ClackCo. bit.ly/486fMSq

Reminder that @RepYunker drools at the thought of Trump. Never forget the time he spent floor time thanking him for “doing more for African Americans than any other president” instead of focusing on facts and his constituents.

Worth noting the same leader is not referring to FSTC as a tax scheme (which it actually is) but is trying to pretend actually improving healthcare in Oregon is scary. Don’t believe the GOP or their weirdo electeds who vote against their constituents every day they can.
Here's the bottom line in Oregon: Vote Democrat —> get MORE taxes. (and note, they are planning more than just this) To Make Oregon Affordable: Vote Republican

That new Christine Drazan ad where says “I’m not going to do X” repeatedly is a really interesting look. Wild for @TeamDrazan not to realize how it looks youtube.com/watch?v=_YmDcCpD…

Hey @TeamDrazan one of your horrendous faux billboards is laying in the middle of road on HWY 99. We know you are committing to policies that harm Oregonians but can you make sure your campaign materials don’t kill anyone?

For far too long, the US empire has committed gross atrocities against the people of Puerto Rico. Today, we call for change to that pattern and demand the investigation into the murder of Filiberto Ojeda Rios. dsausa.org/statements/dsa-de…

It’s weird to me how no one is talking about @ChristineDrazan claiming rural roots/ perspective by saying she’s from Klamath Falls when she actually grew up in Eagle Point and went to a school district with resources far beyond either of the Klamath school districts. #orpol

If you’re a DSA member/supporter and you like what you’re hearing, please support his campaign. He’s running in the most conservative district of Portland and could use some help fighting off the Portland Metro Chamber. mitch4portland.com
Councilor Green responds to (an extremely cynical and unhinged) call from the Portland Police Association to resign. He did not resign and, instead, stood on business.

In 2020, a neighboring city police chief once told a group of people I was with as part of a citizen action effort, “as a department, we do not want ever to become the PPB.” Even other police talked shit about the police in 2020. Having said that, I bet this helps Mitch.
