Heads up to @calgarytransit that the payment system on the app seems to not be working.

I took a different @calgarytransit route today that required me to take the Max Yellow. For some reason all of the signs on the street display Max Yellow as the bus route, but every bus has the route displayed as 304 BRT. The signs on the street have no mention of 304 BRT.

While riding the bus 4 people at my stop, and at least one person at every subsequent stop asked if this was the Max Yellow. At a majority of stops, there was a couple folks waiting who looked confused, like this should be their bus but did not try to approach it in the end.

I worry about how many people are missing the bus, or choosing to not ride the Max Yellow simply because they dont know it when they see it. I wonder if either stickers could be added to signs noting the route number, or if the signs on buses can be changed to read Max Yellow?

Last week, CAUS delegates attended our annual advocacy week, meeting with stakeholders from across #Alberta! This year, CAUS has been focused on both political advocacy and industry relations, engaging in outreach with various key sectors from across our province. #abpoli

I’m so grateful to be working on a project to collect feedback from students about their experiences in post-secondary and what their ideal would be. There are so many brilliant, passionate, amazing people learning how to build their lives and make their mark on the world.

There is much work to be done to improve the post-secondary system. The work really is in looking at the system and how it all works together. As a society we are still only at the beginning of creating a system that supports our young people to become the creators of tomorrow.

😭😭😭 since December I have had 2 different doctors not notify me they were leaving the family practice I part of. After my life long doctor retired I’m now on the hunt for my 3rd doctor. This is not helpful for my continuity of care.

You know what I’d love to see this coming provincial election? I want to see both candidates and parties explain how they will work with opposition to prevent wasted time and money with ridiculous performative bickering. Show me you can understand an idea within adopting it.

Yesterday my mom was reminiscing about how different the world was even 20 years ago. She explained that our family of 4 could make it by on $1,000/month. If times were tough for my dad’s small business, she could up her hours to full time and we were ok.

It’s not that I think this problem is unresolvable. I’m worried that there isn’t enough humility or courage in our elected officials to work TOGETHER to make the world better for ALL.

I dream of a world where our governments have established strong consultative culture, effective feedback loops informing on service delivery outcomes (different than outputs), and where elected officials have the humility and courage to work together for the good of the people.
