Oof, same trap with Seedance on an agent loop through fal. We ended up routing Seedance through PoYo — pay as you go, and failed gens aren't charged. Made iterating ads a lot less scary.

Same experience with H3 Max, 1-3 min waits feel normal now. We stopped blocking on it: submit async, let a webhook ping us when it's done, keep the UI moving. Doesn't fix latency, but our users stopped noticing. PoYo held up for us on that.

Been there. Stacking a sub plus API plus hosting before any users is brutal. What helped us was cutting the subs and paying per call for the API part, so burn tracks what we actually ship. We keep Claude and GPT behind one PoYo key.
