I was grilled at the check in counter for 10 mins & I won’t blame them. One of the crazy itineraries that I never imagined I would do. Thanks to the million miles :)

Just left Varanasi, and I'm still trying to understand how the people there are SO good. Are they acting? Do they want something from us? Honestly, it's hard to believe. After living in Mumbai and Bengaluru, you just don't meet people who are this smiling, this happy, this sweet all the time. They're made of something different. The hostel receptionist (a hostel, not even a hotel), the helpers, the chaat bhandar guys. Every single person. Even at the airport lounge, where there's a fixed menu and a limit on coffees, I offered to swipe another card for an extra coffee. The guy said, "Arre, hum le aate hain, woh rehne dijiye." And then we met this man who summed it all up in just a few lines. Watch the video. 👇 If you feel surrounded by toxic people, go to Varanasi and spend a few days there. They say you're the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Change those 5, even for a few days, and see the difference. @ishangupta97 and I are filming Outbound (a @MagnifyClub show) all across India. We're halfway through, and I'm learning things about this country I never thought I would. I'm awestruck.

Next flight is going to be a really special one. We tweaked our route a little to get onto this. It'll be my first ever Air India widebody flight. May all the gods, angels and genies be with me for a gate upgrade.

Fun one on today's trip. AI 1824 Lucknow to Delhi lands at 17:05, and AI 1702 Delhi to Vizag leaves at 18:30. That's a 1h 25m connection, and both flights are on the same plane, VT-RIO. Can you stay on board through Delhi? And what really happens to the checked bags?
