You've probably heard about the most recent ACE Round from @cademarket? I wrote the smart contracts for the ACE Round and here's how the onchain legal tech behind it works.

cyberSign now offers options beyond pure 'onchain' docs signing: *fully offchain agreements *mixed onchain/offchain agreements basically, it now works for any potential users or mix of users, cryptonative or 'normie' write your own document, import a DOCX, or start from our Mutual NDA or CIIAA, then signers by email or wallet each email signer confirms the invited address with a one-time code, types a name to adopt as a signature and signs the exact PDF, with no wallet, gas or network required (unless the configurer wanted that) in a mixed request, everyone signs offchain first, and then the wallet parties you choose also record their signatures onchain MetaLeX can email the invitations and reminders When the request is complete, each signer and the sender can download a completion certificate and an evidence file sealed by the cyberSign evidence service. A company can also send a request in its own name (requires being a cyberCORP and hence some blockchain use) app.metalex.tech/cybersign/c…

After building and using this I am fully MCP pilled. You can literally connect it, then say to @claudeai "I want to form a company and start a $2M raise" and working in tandem with @lex_node's law bot, it asks you what it needs to know and just gets it done, properly.
your cyberCORP now has a cyberAgent! Connect your agent to the MetaLeX MCP and ask it to do anything--launch/manage a round, edit your cap table, or orchestrate doc signings. just add cybercorps.metalex.tech/mcp as a custom connector h/t to @greypixel_ one of our cracked devs!

so nice to use, honestly..
MetaLeX just went agentic! MCP probably will be the best way to interact with our app and protocol, long-term...frontier LLMs not only understand cap tables & VC rounds better than you do, but even better than most lawyers by now....and make fewer mistakes....

MetaLeX is now live on @RobinhoodCrypto!!! incorporate your company and run your venture rounds on Robinhood Chain; pay in robinhood:0x5fc5360d0400a0fd4f2af552add042d716f1d168 the full suite of MetaLeX features is available--cap tables, legal docs, governance, & (soon) secondary trading in tokenized startup shares

MetaLeX cyberCORPs get their own @ensdomains names form Acme Orbital, Inc. and we assign it acme-orbital.cybercorps.eth automatically, unless you opt out. already have a cyberCORP? claim yours from Mission Control plenty of .eth names sit in front of a multisig and you can't tell who answers for it. a cyberCORP's name points to a legal entity with its officers on the record, and you can publish its filed charter there too same idea as a BORG: trust code where you can, and where you can't, bind the humans with law @MetaLeX_Labs cybercorps.metalex.tech

if I added agentic wrapper entities to cybercorps.metalex.tech/form… to give you limited liability for your agent's actions and a free half hour of legal support, for $1k, would you wrap your trading-agent or other agent in one? replies/engagement here will be used as evidence of demand to get relevant partners onboard

Most "compliant" platforms hoard your ID. @MetaLeX_Labs doesn't. Real securities workflows, real KYC/AML, powered by ZKPassport, and nothing stored that could leak. If you're forming a company onchain, look at what @lex_node and @MetaLeX_Labs are shipping.

Stay safe. This will accelerate before it stabilizes.
3% of “critical” software security bugs, in all of recorded history, have been found in the last month. This is on pace to find another ~100,000 bugs this year alone, adding ~26% more vulnerabilities to the all time total Do you realize how fucking insane that is?

you really don't need anything else to do an angel round. . .
cyberRaise now takes a founder from "which instrument?" to a live investor page compare a SAFE and a priced round by what each pays out in a sale or a shutdown token projects get the same comparison for SAFTs, token warrants and ACE set only the terms your instrument needs, with a live summary preview exactly what investors will see before you sign anything then final review, sign, and the investor link shows up once the offer is confirmed onchain

We’ve built some amazing tools recently
formation, fundraising, governance and exit modeling for your startup, all on MetaLeX set up the formation and approve founder stock in one session compare a SAFE and a priced round by what each pays out in a sale or a shutdown board and stockholder written consents, signed and recorded onchain model who gets paid at exit after every priced round cybercorps.metalex.tech

I've at times been told to give up on tokenizing startups for real on @MetaLeX_Labs because perps exist I will not be doing that, this summary is a good overview of reasons why direct tokenization remains very needed
Jeff drank a bit too much of his own Kool-Aid in this recent Odd Lots clip. I think it's important to clear up a distinction that makes all the difference. Democratizing access to wealth creation is NOT the same as democratizing access to speculation. Many of us genuinely want broader participation in attractive investment opportunities. The growing wealth inequality produced by the current system is tearing at the seams of society, something I've spoken about many times. But let's be clear: listing pre-IPO perpetual futures does absolutely nothing to democratize the wealth being created in private markets. I've seen this misleading narrative pushed repeatedly by perp DEXs lately, and it needs to be called out. A pre-IPO perp creates ZERO underlying wealth. It's a zero-sum contract before costs, and negative-sum after them. No capital flows to the company. No ownership changes hands. No new economic opportunity is created. Every long has a short. There is no free lunch in simply going long something before its IPO, and funding costs can even determine the outcome more than any price moves. TRADING access is NOT INVESTING access. In fact, in many ways pre-IPO perps are almost the antithesis of democratized access: They create the illusion of participation in private-market wealth creation, while actually offering retail a speculative instrument whose mechanics they are often poorly equipped to understand. The result is a playground for the FEW sophisticated traders who understand funding, oracle design, and liquidation mechanics to extract value from the MANY who don't. To give credit where it's due, Robinhood's efforts toward sourcing actual employee shares, placing them into SPVs, and tokenizing genuine spot ownership are much closer to meaningful democratization. That can unlock real economic value by allowing employees to exchange some of their expected upside for liquidity, while giving new investors actual economic exposure. A legitimate financial trade-off, without the funding-rate and liquidation shenanigans. I'm strongly aligned with expanding access to investment opportunities. And I believe advances in AI and blockchain can dramatically lower the barriers to discovering, structuring, and distributing them. But let's not BS ourselves that launching another zero-sum casino contract is moving the needle on wealth inequality. What would actually move the needle is bringing real capital formation and ownership onchain. Giving investors access to productive, illiquid assets like data centers, GPUs, and select startup investing, where capital can actually finance growth and share in the resulting value creation. These opportunities are harder to structure, underwrite, and bring to market, and we haven't seen many compelling implementations onchain yet. Hopefully this will change soon and, as the industry matures, we can direct more of our energy toward actually expanding access to wealth creation. Clip below. Was glad to see @tracyalloway push back on this framing, and to Jeff's credit, after this he does seem to walk back his original position somewhat.

If you end up with a 6-digit legal fees after your fundraise, you are not alone. A typical first-time founder mistake is delegating all their fundraising legal work (e.g. SAFEs, company formation) to a law firm, especially an expensive one. Yes, it's true that a lawyer companion that you can forward all your emails gives you one less thing to think about during a very busy, stressful time of your founder journey, but the opportunity cost of spending that money on your first hires is a real one. A good alternative to saving a lot of money on law firms is to use their judgement in the process, rather than using them as your chief-of-staff. This is as simple as using two/three AI agents to conduct all your legal research, get informed about the best legal practices, and then approaching your lawyer with a very detailed ask to use their judgement.
