What’s even more scary is that if this isn’t the work of a serial killer, it means different men are independently making the same decision to take women’s lives. Sit with that. It’s not one monster we need to fear it’s multiple men deciding that women’s lives are disposable .

My heart goes out to the families and friends of the 21 people who lost their lives in a three-vehicle incident on the N1 near Leeu-Gamka in the Klein Karoo close to midnight last night, Sunday, 13 September 2026.
This tragedy has robbed families of loved ones and breadwinners, and affected businesses and other organisations that employed some of the deceased persons.
This devastating incident cautions us yet again to exercise the greatest care on our roads as we traverse our vast country.
My thoughts are also with the women and men of our emergency services who are deeply affected when they attend to such scenes.

rest in peace to all the victims of the kempton park serial killer. may justice be served. women are not disposable. the state has a duty to protect us and it is failing. we want names, arrests and an end to this, not another statement. no more thoughts, no more prayers.
