An important point. Too often, Episcopal founders are accused of being Deists or not fully orthodox Christians, when really all they are doing is using norms of speech that were common in the 18th century. They were Church of England men by temperament.
It's the Lord's Day. Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, breaks the bonds of Satan, sin, and death that we cannot break ourselves. Come before Him with thanksgiving and give Him the honor that is His due.

One of my favorite things about Saturday is that it’s only one day away from Sunday
Calvary Presbyterian Church in Wyncote, PA. The poet Ezra Pound was raised in this church and took membership. One of his first academic appointments was at Wabash College, a Presbyterian school.
It's crazy to me that KJP isn't running comms for the Department of the Interior.
POTUS should be issuing an executive order authorizing subsidized KJP Made in USA OCBDs for all WH staff.
Give @OldHollowTree top slot at the Department of Agriculture and between the two of them we can make America a beautiful sprawling New England.

Whilst conviction* has driven me to non-conformity on both sides of the Tweed, my would-be Scoto-Catholic heart is warmed to see that the Scottish Church Society has started to get active again:
As executive presbyter of the Unaffiliated Session of First Presbyterian of X, I would like to make a motion that RTS give all MDiv grads an exclusive RTS tartan tie made with Scottish Highlands wool as a graduation gift.
RTS Tartan.
Here’s the backstory, many years ago, Bob Bailey and Dr. Douglas Kelly, secured a tartan design for @ReformTheoSem. I asked Dr. Tony Doggett to register it, and we presented ties and scarves at out last Board meeting. Colors are RTS colors: Bailey Burgundy and McReynolds-Stone Gray.
Burgundy and gray is classy. Updated but traditional. Not copying old tartans but continuing the tradition. 10/10

The @ReformTheoSem faculty has now produced four volumes covering OT & NT Biblical Theology, Covenant Theology, and the Westminster Confession with our friends at @crossway.
What is noticeably absent here is any reflection on whether pastors bear any responsibility for why young men are choosing influencers over pastors.
NEW HORIZONS FEATURE | Where are the Young Men? by Rev. Everett Henes
In Christian circles, many wonder how to reach young men in a digital age, and how to encourage them to consider ministry. Rev. Everett Henes contributes to the conversation in this month's New Horizons. Read the full article here: opc.org/nh.html?article_id=1…
In no way does this excuse young men from neglecting their God-given shepherds.
But I've worked with sheep. I have friends that are shepherds. If the sheep stray, these shepherds don't blame the sheep for going into the dark where there are wolves.
Instead, those shepherds look inward and wonder what they could do differently.
