Aston Villa held an important working meeting today to plan the club's future and lay the foundations for its long-term sporting and institutional project.
The meeting brought together Nassef Sawiris, the club's Chairman and Unai Emery alongside President of Football Operations Roberto Olabe and Director of Football Operations Damián Vidagany.
The discussions focused on jointly planning the club's long-term strategic direction, with positive discussions establishing a clear commitment beyond 2029 for the joint development of the club under the sporting leadership of Unai Emery based on the shared ambitions and common goal to reach excellency and keep growing during the next years.
The objective is clear: to build an ambitious, competitive Aston Villa capable of taking on the biggest challenges and achievements.
Barcelona are one of the best pressing teams in the world . Why oh why are attempting a high risk play out from the back inside the first 10 minutes ? #AVFC
I think the constant beating of the drum from Sky & TalkSPORT for Emery to go Man Utd is now bordering on a organised campaign. Ive never known anything like this before . Totally disrespectful of Villa and a manager under contract #AVFC
Any Villa fans at the game tonight , you were right in line . Was Soler offside for their 1st goal . Tv didn’t show an angle to show it , but it looked off to me #AVFC
Most concerning thing tonight is Villa with many changes had no cohesion , and was totally Inept at playing out from the back . Where as Bournemouth with many changes have looked a well organised outfit #AVFC
Can’t believe we are not going more direct !! Playing out from the back isn’t working with this personnel!! #AVFC
Player like a bunch of strangers , and not good enough at playing out from the back , continuously playing ourselves into trouble against a good press !! #AVFC
Without VAR refs have just forgotten how to ref . Shambles of a performance so from the ref !! #AVFC
Booking of Madjo was a complete joke . Was it a penalty ? no , was it a dive ? No #AVFC
African Man Utd fans & @bethTmufc .
Don Unai , wearing a Villa Blazer to the Ballon Dor , stating it’s very comfortable !!
You can stop with your delusion now #AVFC #MUFC
Unai Emery telling all the African Man Utd fans & @bethTmufc what he thinks of their constant begging for him !! #AVFC
Guess we’re from @walshcat1
The more I see this , the more it’s a penalty . Manzambi knocks the ball past Anderson & Anderson sticks out his right elbow & right leg to block him #AVFC
