There should be only one funding agency for fellowship distribution and equal pay for Indian research scholars who are pursuing a PhD in India, whether it's @IndiaDST @ugc_india @CSIR_IND @ICMR @DBTIndia @iaripgssu2022.It is a disgraceful situation that all the funding agencies are neglecting to scholars while they should issue an office memorandum so far, including a 60% fellowship hike. @rajesh_gokhale @guptaakhilesh63

Our latest paper in @Nature explores a network connecting the lateral hypothalamus with the dorsolateral hippocampus that specifically responds to anticipation of sweet-fat food cues. This network exhibits dysregulation in obesity.

So sad to hear, the field has lost a legend and patriarch.
Raphe first published the isolation and characterization of THC on April 20, 1964.
His lab also discovered endocannabinoids: anandamide in 1990 and 2-AG in 1995.
His impact is profound and he will be greatly missed.
