Adeboye was reportedly asking the EFCC to refund money that is linked to crime to his church, according to what the EFCC chairman said. Imagine that. Fraudulent donations were made to your church, billions of naira, and you are OK with it, but it's not surprising considering how many Men of God in this country have been caught being involved in shady things. I won't be surprised if this was an act of money laundering.
Men of God have been in the news for a lot of questionable things. Wasn't it some years ago that Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor was involved in a scandal where his private jet was used to smuggle weapons worth millions.
