You know what shook me when I was Muslim? The story of Hosea: In it, God tells a prophet to marry a woman He KNOWS will betray him. She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, and used up. Essentially, she is worthless to the world. Then, God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK, to pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. (Hosea 3) I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Bro, why would any man do that!? Then I realized I was exactly like the wife. I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters and I sold myself cheap. In a way, I made myself worthless. But, God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.” Instead, He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.” What's beautiful about this is, that’s the entire Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean. He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty. Islam told me to make myself WORTHY of God. Hosea showed me an amazing, present God who pays to redeem the unworthy. The cross was Him naming the price. Praise the Lord! Follow for more Christian apologetics that doesn't stop at winning arguments but equips you to actually reach people!

A sign of a good Bat Path is the ability to make flush contact across a range of POCs As POC moves further out front: • Attack Angle increases • Both HAA & HBA work from oppo to pull-side This means solid contact goes from low oppo➡️LD to CF➡️in the air pull-side

Here's Walls' full breakdown of his defensive prowess. This guy's baseball IQ>>>>
Taylor Walls just went ~3 minutes on his defensive prowess — and reading balls off the bat like basketball players snag rebounds off the backboard. It was fascinating stuff. Will try and post later.

The hardest lesson NFL MVP Steve Young ever had to learn. "Fear-based thinking is a liar. I was afraid of failure, so much so that I paid this price so that I could have success. I learned as an older person, that's a fallacy. That's fraudulent." "I'm not going to pay for success with my worry and fretting. Man, fame is a thief. Fear-based thinking is a thief. There's a lot of thieves in life."

A Christian should never build assurance of salvation on what he can picture in his mind, how strongly he can feel forgiven, or how vividly he can imagine himself belonging to Christ. Our imagination is too unstable to carry the weight of eternity. Some days we feel close to God. Other days we feel almost nothing. Sometimes the mind is clear, and sometimes it is clouded by fear, guilt, exhaustion, or temptation. If assurance rises and falls with those things, we will spend our lives looking inward for a certainty that our own hearts were never designed to provide. Scripture points us somewhere stronger. John writes, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13). Notice where assurance is anchored. Not in a private vision. Not in a powerful feeling. Not in our ability to convince ourselves that everything is well. John points believers to what God has revealed in His written Word. Christ Himself gives promises that do not depend on the strength of our emotions. “The one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out” (John 6:37). The question is not whether we can imagine Christ receiving us. The question is whether Christ has spoken truthfully. Faith rests on His promise, not on the vividness of our inner experience. This does not mean self examination has no place. Scripture tells us, “Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). The presence of repentance, love for Christ, hunger for holiness, obedience, and perseverance matter. They do not become the foundation of our salvation, but they are real evidences that the grace of God is at work in us. Romans 8:16 also tells us that “the Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.” But the Holy Spirit does not give assurance by leading us away from Scripture into private fantasies. He opens our eyes to Christ, presses the truth of God’s promises upon the heart, produces His fruit in us, and teaches us to cry, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15). This is where many believers torment themselves unnecessarily. They keep asking whether they feel saved enough, whether their conversion was dramatic enough, whether their prayers are emotional enough, or whether they can remember the exact moment everything changed. Those are poor foundations. Our hope is not that we can produce enough inward certainty to make salvation real. Our hope is that Christ has accomplished a real salvation outside of us, God has made real promises concerning His Son, and the Holy Spirit is producing real fruit within those who belong to Him. A wise Christian therefore does not stare endlessly into his own imagination looking for peace. He looks to Christ, believes what God has written, examines his life honestly, and rests where assurance was always meant to rest. Not on how strongly we can persuade ourselves. On the faithfulness of the God who cannot lie.

If you ever feel like God is not with you, read this verse: ISAIAH 46:3-4 "I have carried you since you were born; I have taken care of you from your birth. Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you. I will carry you and save you"🥺

The Heritage American debate isn’t just about severing your connection to the American past. The more sinister idea is that what you do today carries no inheritance forward. Serve your country. Build something. Sacrifice. Endure. Die for it. Then be told your descendants have no special claim to your story, no right to take pride in your sacrifice, no deeper connection because of what you gave. Once you convince a people that inheritance, lineage, and posterity mean nothing, you’ve weakened one of the oldest reasons men sacrifice for a future they’ll never live to see. That is fertile ground for any system that wants loyalty transferred from family and inheritance to the state.

Throw with intent and purpose even during warmups and get better! 2. Find a different position!! Simple!!
