I worked as an edit assistant on this a little while back, and it’s my first professional credit!
Like I’m sorry I can’t think of anything worse than a laptop screen with a bazillion finger print marks on
I love tech. I really do. But there’s two things you can’t ever convince me are worthwhile ideas. Apple has done both in the last 2 months.
- Foldable phone (stupid concept)
- Touch screen laptop (just buy a tablet)
I just don’t get it.
The poppy is now just as loaded a weapon as a flag is and has been for a while.
Always the same kind of people using both to spread whatever hate they’ve rolled the dice on this week.
It's fair to say that people being turned away for wearing poppies didn't sit well with the locals in Gosport (this was a gathering in response to the rejection)
Disgraceful! Just remember the security and manager said if they removed their poppies they were allowed in. So this is nothing to who the people were and what they were supporting. This was purely down to them wearing a poppy and that’s wrong
The Impossible Planet viewing figures: 6.32m
Every single Matt Smith episode got higher than that. It took until Capaldi’s second series to reach an episode that got lower than 6.32.
So I don’t see why Smith and Capaldi episodes wouldn’t be popular enough for a screening.
I was someone who enjoyed the first half of S2, but looking back it almost feels like we were all delusional because those first 5 episodes are really not good at all 😭 that being said TSATE was the first on broadcast that I really didn’t gel with, and I still don’t *get it*?
Time to sack Shirley methinks because wtf was wrong with her last night

Generally I think this new 4th Doctor figure is excellent, though I’m still unsure about the scarf. It’s a bit oversized width-wise and looks a little off, but the figure itself is easily the best 4th Doctor we’ve ever had.
This is my best attempt at the scarf.

This figure compared to the previous Shada 4th Doctor is a night and day difference. It’s a real case of not realising how bad something was until you see the new version. The vortex figure makes the B&M one look like a knock off 😅

Banger, and crazy now to think since this aired we could’ve had 13’s era all over again.
I’ll weirdly always be quite nostalgic for 2021-23 Doctor Who
Four years ago today, The Power of The Doctor first aired on BBC One and iPlayer as part of the BBC Centenary.. and we sadly said goodbye to The Thirteenth Doctor with the blossomiest blossom 💔 #DoctorWho 💙💙
How can it be a day off for teachers if you’ve self described it as ‘teacher training’
Why would schools have teachers training on a Friday before week half term?
Just another day for teachers to have off. It's a joke. #uk #education @educationgovuk
Parents got to then change schedule to keep them home.
It bothers me so much that they got the drone spot on in the 2013 release and then only made a weathered variant of it.
At the rate the strategist is going, getting darker with each release, we’ll have an accurate Asylum version in about 20 years time.
I never much liked Trina in the original show but she’s much more likeable and shows growth in this series, while still being the same character in moments like this. In terms of ranking the characters, I’d say:
Emmy
Trina
Qwest
Oscar
Pepper
Jen
It’s not a flying car though. It’s a *landing* car.
