Seven years ago I called this "the future home of Productivityist." Turns out I was right. TimeCrafting is what it became. Welcome.

Radical hope isn't optimism and it isn't denial. It's holding a clear-eyed view of how hard something is at the same time as believing it can change. New conversation with Dr. Tiffany G. Townsend. aproductiveconversation.tran… #Productiveness #LeadershipDevelopment

She reminded me on air that she used to write the show notes for this podcast as a teenager for twenty dollars an episode. I had forgotten. She had not.
18 years of this show and I've never called myself a podcaster. It's about fourth on the list, because the podcast was never the point. For International Podcast Day, my daughter Grace joined me at @kit Studios on NYC and turned the tables and interviewed me.

Bending Spoons is acquiring Airtable for 1.285B. The record: 75% of WeTransfer’s staff cut. 85%+ at Brightcove. Nearly all of Vimeo. Evernote’s annual plan went $69.99 → $129.99. Nothing changes until it closes. Learn how to export your bases before it does.

I wonder if it was because it was about the @Bengals that he got so riled up... 😬
Nick Wright, before making a routine prediction: get the date on record, mark it for the archives, "I want to be the first to report." Being first to report a guess is not reporting. It's pre-ordering your own highlight reel. This is what arrogance looks like when it's convinced it's confidence. And it's the same engine behind most performative productivity: the appearance of being right, doing the job of being useful. Productiveness doesn't need the archives. The work either mattered or it didn't. youtube.com/shorts/AehMTZXjF…

Your inbox is the worst to-do list you own. No structure. The real task buried behind “re: re: fwd: quick thing.” Actual work tangled up with receipts you’ll never read. The fix isn’t a new app. It’s a decision: let your inbox be where things land, not where they live.

Last day to vote on my @PodcastMovement session, "The Podcast Isn't the Point (It's the Connective Tissue)." Thank you to everyone who already has. It takes a sign-in to vote (a small hoop, I know). If you're willing to jump through it, search "Vardy" once you're in. podcastmovement.fider.io/pos… Closes tonight. 🎙️🙏

I proposed a talk for @PodcastMovement 2026 and the community decides what gets picked. It's called "The Podcast Isn't the Point (It's the Connective Tissue)" — for anyone whose show supports a bigger body of work instead of being the whole thing. 18 years in. Your show might do more by being asked to be less. Vote here (closes July 21): podcastmovement.fider.io/pos… #PodcastMovementNYC26

Every birthday, the deal’s the same: however many years you’ve turned, that’s how many lessons you’re supposed to hand back. Turn 52, cough up 52. I turned 52 this past week. I’ve got one. Nurture your relationship with time. Not manage it — nurture it. Because if your relationship with time is solid, your relationship with everything else will be too.

The doom loop: feel behind, find the fix, go all in, get derailed, feel worse, repeat. @SteveKamb spent 17 years watching it happen — and built PACT to get out of it. New episode of A Productive Conversation: aproductiveconversation.tran… #productivity #howtotryagain
