1,Facial vein→angular vein→ ophthalmic veins→cavernous sinus 2,Facial vein drains into the pterygoid venous plexus which in turn drains into the cavernous sinus in the brain (base)via the emissary veins especially those that go through the foramen ovale and foramen lacerum

🚨The Triangle of Death. 🚫 Don’t squeeze pimples in the “triangle of death” (between your nose and mouth)! This area connects directly to veins in your brain. An infection here can spread and cause serious, even life-threatening complications. 👉 Best move: Hands off, let it heal, or see a doctor.

Excessive screen time especially passive watching of TVcan reduce attention span and social learning in children due to Overstimulation of the Brain,Fast-paced visuals, constant noise, and quick scene changes on TV train the brain to expect high stimulation.

I had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Cissy Kityo, Executive Director of the @jcrc_official1 , to the National Planning Authority today. We discussed JCRC’s proposal to establish Uganda’s first regional Bone Marrow Transplant facility- a strategic opportunity that would reduce costly overseas referrals and support the objectives of the Fourth National Development Plan. Together with my team @NPA_UG, we committed to provide technical guidance to help make the facility a bankable public investment, and to support the preparation of robust feasibility studies. We look forward to continued collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure this project advances national health priorities and delivers value for Ugandans.

As we begin this new week, let us reflect on one important question: Should Ugandans continue traveling abroad for life-saving specialized treatment like Bone Marrow Transplant? If your answer is NO, then this is your moment to stand with us. Thousands of patients and families continue to face the emotional and financial burden of seeking treatment outside Uganda. Together, we can change this story by supporting the establishment of a Bone Marrow Transplant Centre right here in Uganda, a centre that will bring hope, save lives, reduce costs, and make specialized care accessible to our people. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality for Ugandans. Donate today through: bmtfundraising.jcrc.org.ug Or support directly via: Account Name: Joint Clinical Research Centre Account Number: 4020068000358 Bank: Pearl Bank Uganda Limited This is more than a fundraiser, it is a chance to build a future where Ugandans can receive world-class treatment at home. Join the movement. Give hope. Save lives. Build Uganda’s first Bone Marrow Transplant Centre today. #JCRCCares #BMTFundraisingDrive
