Officially swapped my secondary handle onto my primary Twitter account. Now using @ProfWolek here instead of the old #LowkeyNW. Now if I could just get an invite to that other network...

One year ago, #HurricaneIan crossed the state of Florida. Today, I told attendees from around the world at the online #AudioMoth conference about our experience capturing its sounds using @OpenAcoustic devices. Many thanks to @NilsBouillard for the invitation!

Preparing for the AudioMoth conference where I’ll be demoing @OpenAcoustics AudioMoth Play with a small mammal case study using #MicroMoth, which is small enough to attach to the foliage on trees

Really looking forward to this on Thursday! Will be discussing some about using @OpenAcoustics not just in research but also in the classroom.

Bummed that I missed this. I just assumed they would be landing in the Gulf again, but instead they passed over our house! My wife says she heard the sonic boom around 12:15. I'll have to pay more attention to landing details.
You may be able to spot @SpaceX's Dragon Endeavour spacecraft in the night sky shortly before #Crew6 splashes down off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida around 12:17am ET (0417 UTC) on Monday, Sept. 4. Here's where (and when) Endeavour will be most visible.

I’ll be talking mostly about how our little recorders in #MosquitoLagoon did when #HurricaneIan passed over them last year.

Well, I have both @LowkeyNW & @ProfWolek on Instagram. If I jump to #threads, which handle should I use?

This new restriction might be the last straw for me. I came to rely on Twitter as an essential tool for quickly sharing items with a wide audience (not just fellow users). I could then link back to them in reports & longer blog posts. Not anymore. reuters.com/technology/twitt…

I love the vibrancy of sea bird colonies. Each bird intent on its own nest keeping duties.

I kept hearing this distant frog chorus in the park, so I asked a @RockyNPS ranger where to get a closer listen. She drew me a map to this unassuming pond. It did not disappoint! These Western chorus frogs are loud! #FieldRecording #listening #biophony #soundscape #AskARanger 1/3

Photo: Daytime. A very small pond sits in a meadow filled with long scrubby grass that stretches out to the horizon. It is framed by mountains on the left and right. It's sunny, but the sky is filled with a blanket of light grey clouds. 2/3
