New article is up! I wrote this because I am seeing a lot of doom posting about emergency preparedness and I know lots of people on here are struggling with feeding their families, nevermind building up a pantry. Here’s some hints and tips on how to build up an emergency stockpile of food and other items when you don’t have much money or space.
I am seeing lots of doom postings lately about emergency preparedness so I wanted to write another article about food preparedness for those who struggle with what to do with limited money or space.

CBC quoted Lowan’s speech right up to the line that reveals the ideology—and then stopped In their election-night write-up, CBC reported: “We may have a small caucus, but tonight we have inherited an enormous responsibility, and that is to hold a majority Conservative government to account.” What she said next, according to the full transcript (and the video CBC itself posted):“We are the only party who is equipped to stand against the Conservatives and their existence.” That is not “holding a government to account.” That is declaring the victorious party’s existence illegitimate. It is the language of elimination, not opposition If a BC Conservative candidate had said the NDP or Greens needed to be opposed “and their existence,” it would have led every newscast, every panel, and every CBC segment for days. Instead, the line was edited out of the written coverage while the surrounding sentences were used to portray her as a responsible voice of accountability This is not an oversight. CBC has the full speech on their website. They chose which sentences to quote and which to bury. Meanwhile, hosts and panels continue to treat the BC Conservatives as uniquely dangerous while soft-pedaling a 26-year-old party leader who just framed an entire party’s existence as the problem to be solved Age is not a shield. “Movement building” is not a euphemism that erases the actual words. Selective quotation that stops one sentence before the most revealing line is not journalism—it is CBC narrative management The video is on CBC’s own site. The transcript is public. The CBC omission is the story @brodiefenlon

Are woke BC people going to move to Saskatchewan and Alberta in protest of a new conservative government? That would be funny. Don’t let them Idaho & Wyoming you with their California-style voting.

Will all the woke municipalities in BC that just got voted back in lose their provincial funding for all the woke admin make-work projects and have to do actual work for their communities?

I bet there’s a lot of people across Canada who have a different answer to this question tonight:
If I said I wanted to move to British Columbia from Saskatchewan to be closer to family in 2026, what would you reply? Genuinely curious.

I feel ya
When I was younger, I considered dying on Hastings and Main. Knowing my addiction had me, that was the place to go out with a bang. Once I got clean, those thoughts ended. Not until today have I ever considered living—and not dying—in BC.

Tonight, British Columbians chose a new direction. We’re doing this for our sons and daughters. For the future they deserve and the province we owe them. Thank you, British Columbia, I won’t let you down.

I recently moved to BC. Just in time to see the Eby regime get kicked to the curb. I feel like I bought land in Prague right before the USSR collapsed.

An ordinary man ! A man who wants to make his province successful. He is NOT an elite who seeks personal gain. He is a man for the people because he sees the possibility of this wonderful province. He wants prosperity for all. Congratulations! 🥳

On the last day of the @BCNDP campaign, a @dave_eby social media video includes a purported clip of a nurse in British Columbia. It is stock footage of a dental hygienist shot in Ukraine. Not in British Columbia. Not in Canada. But in Ukraine. #bcpoli
Supporters of the BC NDP and the Green Party share a lot of the same values. Strong public health care, protecting the place we call home, and asking the wealthiest to chip in more to build a stronger B.C. That’s why we're asking for your support and your vote to stop Conservative cuts, higher costs and chaos. If we stand together, we can build B.C. strong.
