Ohioans are paying $663 more on utility bills because of the central role Jon Husted played in Ohioโ€™s largest-ever bribery scandal. Trumpโ€™s approval rating is 34%. Let that number sink in. Lower than Jimmy Carter at his lowest point. As low as Herbert Hoover in the middle of the Great Depression before he got ousted. He campaigned on ending wars in the Middle East. We have a new war in the Middle East. He campaigned on lowering prices. Prices are up across the board: energy, tariffs, everything. And the same people who were with him when he said he wouldnโ€™t do it are still with him now that heโ€™s doing it. Hereโ€™s the real question: Does he care about any of this? I would submit to everybody โ€” he does not. Heโ€™s entered the nihilistic stage of his political career. The polls donโ€™t matter. The people donโ€™t matter. The consequences donโ€™t matter. That is the most dangerous version of this man. And thatโ€™s exactly where we are.

BREAKING: Trump punishes Pope Leo for criticizing his Iran War by stripping $11 million from Catholic Charities in Florida that was supposed to help shelter and care for children who enter the country alone. Trump is terrorizing kids in America while killing them overseas... โ€œThe U.S. government has abruptly decided to end more than 60 years of relationship with Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Miami,โ€ said Archbishop Thomas Wenski. โ€œThe Archdiocese of Miamiโ€™s services for unaccompanied minors have been recognized for their excellence and have served as a model for other agencies throughout the country.โ€ "Our track record in serving this vulnerable population is unmatched. Yet, the Archdiocese of Miamiโ€™s Catholic Charitiesโ€™ services for unaccompanied minors has been stripped of funding and will be forced to shut down within three months," he added. The Department of Homeland Security, through its Office of Refugee Resettlement, has paid Catholic Charities in Miami for years to help house children who enter the country without accompanying adults. The Miami Herald describes the program as essentially a "federally funded foster care system." Bishop Wenski said that despite there being a recent decrease in unaccompanied minors โ€œit is baffling that the U.S. government would shut down a program that it would be hard-pressed to replicate at the level of competence." Robert Latham, associate director of the University of Miami Law Schoolโ€™s Children and Youth Law Clinic, said that the gutting of funding and possible need to move the children elsewhere could inflict serious damage on their developing psyches. "Itโ€™s incredibly psychologically harmful to be moved,โ€ he said. โ€œFor little kids, moving repeatedly creates bonding issues and destroys the sense of both self and community. They donโ€™t know who they are and where they will be." โ€œThis should only be done with a lot of emotional support that you normally would find within a family. Unfortunately, that is not there in a group home setting,โ€ Latham added. Of course, Donald Trump couldn't care less about the suffering of children. This man was friends with Jeffrey Epstein for years and been accused of sexual abuse himself. He started his Iran War by blowing up a school full of little girls and his administration has worked around the clock to strip funding from programs that feed, educate, and house children. While the administration has not admitted that these funding cuts are payback against Pope Leo, the point A to point B is apparent. Trump is the most vindictive man to ever hold the presidency. He has been relentlessly attacking Leo for criticizing his Iran War. This is him using financial leverage in an effort to beat the Pope into submission. It will not work. Please โค๏ธ and share to demand that the funding be doubled when Democrats take back control!

Important
MAGA calls Europe freeloaders. Hereโ€™s what theyโ€™re not telling you. โ€‹1. Ramstein Air Base, the most important US military hub outside America, is built on German land provided rent-free, with Germany contributing hundreds of millions to its upkeep. The US couldnโ€™t replace it anywhere in the world. 2. Every US military operation in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia flows through Ramstein. Lose it and US power projection in the Eastern Hemisphere is crippled. 3. The UK provides and maintains RAF Lakenheath used almost entirely by the US Air Force. Italy provides Aviano. Greece provides Souda Bay. Turkey provides Incirlik. European land. European infrastructure. American operations. 4. The US Sixth Fleet depends entirely on European ports for fuel and supplies. Souda Bay, Naples, 11 Greek ports. Without them the Sixth Fleet cannot operate in the Mediterranean or project power into the Middle East. 5. The majority of NATOโ€™s intelligence and surveillance capacity is hosted on European soil and fed directly to the CIA, NSA and Pentagon. 6. Early warning radar at Fylingdales, UK. Missile tracking in Greenland. Norwegian monitoring stations near Russia. All dependent on European goodwill. 7. It would cost America MORE to bring the troops home than keep them here. European hosts subsidise roughly a third of all basing costs. 8. Europe is Americaโ€™s largest arms customer. Stop buying American and part of their defence industry goes bankrupt. 9. The bases arenโ€™t charity. Theyโ€™re America using European soil, European money and European goodwill to project power across the world. 10. Weโ€™re not the freeloaders.

Retired Lt. Col. Rachel VanLandingham said it clearly on PBS: threatening to bomb every bridge and power plant in Iran is itself a war crime. Not just reckless talk. A crime. Why? Because terrorizing a civilian population through rhetoric violates the law of war. And the law of war is U.S. law. Hereโ€™s the part nobody wants to say out loud: our own State Department used this exact legal standard to condemn Putin for targeting Ukrainian power plants. Same act. Same law. Different flag. Words have consequences โ€” and so does hypocrisy.

You don't say you're going to bomb 90 million people back to the Stone Age when you're the leader of the free world. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ That is an inappropriate statement. It is beneath the office. And it is beneath this country. But here's what he's actually doing with that rhetoric. He's softening the public up for ground troops. That's the tell. You don't talk like that unless you're preparing people psychologically for what comes next. And what comes next โ€” I have it at 55 to 60 percent probability โ€” is ground troops going into Iran. And once ground troops are in, everything changes. The Strait of Hormuz situation becomes infinitely more complex. Oil flow becomes a live variable in a shooting war and here's the piece nobody is talking about loudly enough: 40 to 50 percent of that oil flows to China. If ground troops go in and the Strait gets disrupted โ€” we are simultaneously slowing down the Chinese economy. That is not a side effect. That may be part of the calculation. But you are playing with fire at a scale that has consequences for every economy on earth including ours. $300 oil doesn't just hurt China. It destroys the American consumer. Think carefully about what you're being prepared to accept.
