The largest crypto exchange in the universe just got hacked, and everyone is losing their minds. Here are my thoughts. Bro, let me remind you: Bybit, Bitget, and BingX have faced hacks before, and users were not left holding the bag for their losses. And you seriously think Binance won’t step up to cover the losses? You’re either new to crypto or have absolutely no idea how this industry works. Binance reportedly holds $144B in custody. It generates roughly $15–20B in annual revenue. Now take a step back and think. Crypto has three backbones: BTC USDT Binance If any of these permanently shuts down, crypto’s credibility will take a massive hit. Binance isn’t just another exchange. It’s one of the biggest pillars holding this entire industry together. Bro, STAY CALM. Your funds aren’t automatically lost that an exchange holding more than $100B assets.. $5.7B hacked isnt a big deal for them. Binance has the resources to respond.. Yes, this is a terrible time for Binance and the entire crypto market. But never forget one thing: THIS IS THE BIGGEST EXCHANGE IN THE CRYPTO UNIVERSE. Stop panicking. Stop spreading FUD. Let the situation unfold before jumping to conclusions.

The largest crypto exchange in the world just experienced the largest robbery in human history—and the person running it is a nomadic autistic man in Dubai posting “Funds are SAFU!” What a time to be alive.

Saw a few discussions about size of hack, why impact to bitcoin price is small, etc. 👇 $6.3 billion is the biggest in USD terms, but not in BTC terms. MtGox was 650,000 BTC! Other important numbers to consider: % of bitcoin (in relation to BTC total supply), ie, market impact. MtGox is big there again at 5%+. Number of users impacted, and % of user assets impacted. MtGox (the largest CEX at the time) and FTX (not small) were all near 100% of users and their asseets. Most important: Who is impacted? Does the platform cover it all? (only one victim), as in recent two CEX cases and Binance. Obviously, still a major disaster for the industry, Binance (and me). It hurts, but we survive. Most importantly, we protect our users.
