Nice. I've seen bigger but don't think there is a graupel size record. Sounds like a fun citizen science project to try

We remain deeply divided on many issues...
🔗: bit.ly/4kp3bP7 A new Deseret News/@hinckleyinst poll reveals the name people prefer for Utah's NHL team. If Utahns had their druthers, they would go with Outlaws, according to a new Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll. But it’s by no means a majority and close among all three candidates. To break down those results a little more, 42% of men preferred Outlaws, 10 points higher than women, 37% of whom made Utah Hockey Club their top choice. Find out more about what Utahns think at the link above. ✏️:@dennisromboy, Deseret News

Sunday afternoon no. Sunday evening yes.
Have you tried holding your office hours on Sunday afternoon? We find the students really like it when faculty are available on weekends.

This is horrible news for numerical weather prediction in this country. The data that comes from these key parts of our weather enterprise saves lives. DOGE moves to cancel NOAA leases on key weather buildings axios.com/2025/03/03/doge-no…

MY OPINION: There was a plan to dismember and partially privatize NOAA and the National Weather Service in 1995. It was a bad idea then, and weakening those critical public-safety agencies is a worse idea now. More at bit.ly/4ioxHqu
