what's the point of being a god if you can't have some fun with it?

KOTOR isn't a game it's a job I do so I can talk to my awesome work friend Jolee Bindo
Prohibition era Superman comics having the next Al Capone and his gang try to find new ways of stealing from the Metropolis Starving Children's Home while Superman Bugs Bunny's his way into them thinking their ill-gotten treasure is haunted. And that's beautiful.
"Alright, ya mooks. In three hours the Feds are gonna drop off a lead-lined box filled with Gold. I want yous guys to secure it and send it here"
"You got it boss!"
"Those Capitalist Pigs don't realize I'm a Russian spy and they're stealing Uranium! AHAHAHAHA"
Like, yeah, if we're bringing back Barry he should be a little updated from "Iris, good news, it's been three months, it's time to push the beds together and do the Devil's Horizontal Tango!"
But I really really can't stress enough on how lame this new Barry is.

Otis is the unofficial jester of Lex court, there's not an actual court and only Lex find him funny, Otis thinks he's the Administer Manager of Public Relations and that the jester suit is his lexorian uniform
Mercy and Eve can have a nice little castle to themselves. Otis can be Administer Manager of Public Relations.
"But Lex, there is no Public Relations..."
"Shhhhhh!"

I don't entirely hate shared universes. I just don't see them as a main attraction when it comes to the cost of a character's individuality and world building.
"But surely if Superman is too smart, then what about Batman?"
I don't care. I genuinely don't.
I can easily name twenty better detectives than Batman.
Superhero origins being "A happened to me and I decide to do B and as a consequence I am now C..." is more interesting than needing a whole run, three events, and a 2 book origin to explain a character's deal.
