Finished 66 out of 862 in Nice Regional with a record of 8-4; shoutout to @frpio_pero for the team!
I'm still a tiny bit bummed about not taking it further, but very grateful to have the opportunity to compete and be in Nice with my friends [:

Update on this: apparently some sections of the rom expect specific text sizes (e.g. digimon names); a friend of mine tried to change BigMamemon's name and ended up with the attached image
Where were the white squares appearing? This may be an edge-case or something similar

By latin characters, do you mean characters with accents and stuff like that? I know that any character in ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏĐÑÒÓÔÕÖØÙÚÛÛÜÝ¡¿àáâãäåæçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõöøùúûüý should work, as shown in the picture

Yep! The stats of base digimon, enemy encounters and fixed bosses are all editable, as shown in the picture below; at the moment we're still missing some named labels for boss-only digimon (e.g. Grimmon), but this is being looked into and should be fixed soon [:
The editor currently allows editing of:
- Digimon base data
- Move data
- Starter packs
- Standard, Armor, DNA digivolutions
- Wild encounters, item drops
- Quest data
- Equipment, consumables, farm items
- In-game text
- QoL patches (same as the randomizer)
After building DWDDRandomizer as a base for ROM manipulation on these games, my goal with the editor was to let anyone build their own projects on top of Dawn/Dusk: difficulty rom-hacks, balance patches, custom digivolution lines, etc.
Hi! I've released DigimonNDSRomEditor, the first dedicated ROM editor for Digimon World Dawn/Dusk.
This tool allows you to directly edit the games' data: stats, digivolutions, starters, wild encounters, in-game text, and much more.

Finally, to celebrate the v0.2.0 release, here are some cookies featuring our Dawn/Dusk mascots and a few other digimon (non-baked yet) [:
Hi! I've released v0.2.0 of Digimon World Dawn/Dusk Randomizer [:
This update significantly expands both the randomization and QoL patches, including enemy tamers, movesets, traits, version-exclusive areas, and more.

Hi! I've released DWDDRandomizer, the first randomizer and QoL patcher for Digimon World: Dawn and Dusk.
This tool aims to reduce the grind-heavy mechanics, improve the pacing of the games, and provide various randomization options.

My worlds run ends at 5-3; although I didn't make it to day 2, pretty happy w the result
Per usual, team cookies below [:
Just as a quick update, we're accepting orders for cookies that do not yet have a 3D-printed cookie cutter until Sunday, March 31st!
Here's a preview of some of the new cutters:

For example, Iron Hands's cookie cutter design was adjusted to emphasize its details by removing some of the thinner lines, and the Gholdengo cutter was re-made as a circular cutter (shown in the picture) as it is a very thin pokémon and burnt easily when using only its outline

I don't yet, but I can definitely get it printed in time for the EUIC! The cookie cutter would be similar to the following preview (using Cookiecad):
I will be bringing cookies to the EUIC! Accepting orders for pokémon cookies, whether it's the team you're bringing to the EUIC or your personal favorites 🍪
Prices are €2.50/$2.81/£2.21 for a single cookie, €12.50/$14.05/£11.05 for a pack of six. DM for further inquiries!
