Great episode about the Checks and Balances of our constitutional system and the importance of Congress. And of course, Yuval Levin mentions that expanding the House is a reform we must discuss when talking about restoring our constitutional balance and trust. I urge all No Cappers to listen when you have time.
I'm delighted to share this week's episode of the Checks and Balances Podcast, where I speak with the great Yuval Levin of @aei about the state of the Republic and how to recover our civic inheritance. Please consider giving it a listen. @chkbal chkbal.substack.com/p/congre…

Project No Cap has 74 volunteers across 33 states that agree, we must Expand the House of Representatives. Help us make it happen before the 2030 census. 1/2
Basic congressional reforms that would improve DC, but everyone will hate even though I'm right: (1) Expand the House of Representatives to 1000 to 2000 members. (2) Pay them at least $300,000. (3) Get rid of the cap on campaign and party donations.

I'd support two things to improve elections to the House: 1) Uncap the House so it properly represents the growth of the US population since 1910 2) Pass a standalone anti-gerrymandering bill Together they could make lots more House elections truly competitive regularly. – at Gettysburg, PA
whenever we get a federal trifecta, we need a STAND ALONE no-nonsense bill on gerrymandering go chase other things on separate bills

Angry Baseball face is pretty smart; I respect the hell out of many of his positions, but he doesn't know everything. What if he is wrong here? What if, instead of fighting against structural change, he supported it? What if there were a structural change that was both conservative and progressive? What if there were a structural change that was constitutional and expanded representation for all Americans? What if structural change is what could unite us and help the country heal and grow? There is. @UncapTheHouse If you have breath in your lungs and ink in your pen, this is what you should be sharing. Stop the pendulum. Stop fighting against change and embrace it, shape it, be part of history, and stop watching it go by. @baseballcrank check out @Project_No_Cap
Bad policy is coming. That's bad, but we've survived worse. The fundamental question remains: can we save the American constitutional system from irreversible structural changes before the partisan pendulum comes back? That's the whole ballgame.

Today I spoke with @beatmastermatt about his support for the idea of uncapping the U.S. House of Representatives and why he's backing #ia02 independent candidate @Dave_Bushaw -- who supports the idea, too. youtube.com/watch?v=coRftMKd… @iowasnewsnow

Spreading the word about your right to representation is the most important thing you can do right now. And few are doing it better than this guy. Thanks @beatmastermatt!!
