The UK has normalised being broke while working full time. You can do everything right, show up, work hard, work extra hours, stay consistent and you still end up with no money left a week or two after payday.

I'm a firm believer in discussing salaries with the people you work with and wider, it not only helps you understand your worth but it challenges companies to do better.

It's actually scary how many people are making excuses and feel bad for Omar. It goes to show you, even with evidence in front of them, people will always excuses for abusive toxic behaviour by men (often by blaming the woman too). #BBUK
