Where Russell Moore, in a new Christianity Today article, reveals he's pretty much against the death penalty now.

Appreciate Bryce for this. We have some quibbles with him, sure, but he's more direct and bold than the vast majority of Christian pastors or leaders that we've seen when given the opportunity to interview 'prominent' folk. They could learn a lesson from him.
For those who asked: One of the quibbles, which should perhaps read 'very major concerns' is his church situation. Very unclear if he attends a biblical church, with the last public thing is that he just started up some house church. He's also affirmed Benny Hinn and Copeland and is way too friendly with them, including saying' Hinn's book about the HOLY spirit is the best he's ever seen. In a lot of ways Crawford has the discernment of a cringy 12 year old girl in a Hot Topic store, and that's disconcerting. He has a lot of influence in his space, and while there is much to commend, there is much to caution.
Holiness preacher Nathan Cox preaches that anyone who doesn't follow all of the strict “Holiness standards” (which forbids jewelry, wedding rings, makeup, hair dye, cutting women’s hair, beards on men, short sleeves, etc.) shouldn't be considered or treated like fellow believers
Carl Lentz addresses whether he is permanently disqualified from the pastorate after driving Hillsong NY into the ground and having multiple affairs, saying he is QUALIFIED for the role and OPEN to the idea, but has no plans to rejoin pastoral ministry for now.

The folks at Christianity Today are in full force today, including @bonniekristian, trying to convince folks that CT is a centrist mag.
Yet I'm old enough to remember when in 2020 they accused white Christians of being inherent racists who were committing acts of spiritual violence against black people by voting GOP, below:
Or how in 2023, @megbasham revealed how between 2015 and 2022, ‘Christianity Today’ staffers donated Exclusively to Democrats?
But yeah- super centrist 🙄

During a conference on Love, Sex & Dating, pastor Christopher Mckaskle can't read the scripture "let her breasts be your satisfaction" without laughing, in what seems like a truly awful time.
Skillet's Jon Cooper told a reporter in a recent interview:
"I just found out another iconic musician became a Christian yesterday. I don’t know if we were allowed to say it or not, so I won’t say his name, but I was lit up yesterday."
Awesome. 👏 👏👏

Christianity Today needs to be less like Wheaton and more like TikTok. "
Interesting article about the turmoil at Christianity Today, and their inability to understand why people think they are progressive and woke.

'Pastor' Vicky explains that the notion that Jesus died for our sins "is a line that the church has used for hundreds of years that does not really make sense to me."
Instead, she says he died for "challenging the status quo" by calling for folks to be more loving."
