He built a load balancer in Go that picks a healthy server for each request. The reverse proxy passes the request along and brings the answer back. Once a server is flagged as down, it gets skipped. Users keep hitting the same address. A practical example of how a reverse proxy works 👍
built a load balancer in GO features : 1. concurrent request handling 3. reverse proxy 2. fault detection 3. health checks 4. thread safe shared state 5. pluggable algorithm selection using ocp demo video and repository link below:

46% of the residential proxy IPs in @ipinfo’s 90-day study appeared across more than one provider’s network. So buying from a different provider doesn’t always mean getting access to a different pool of IPs. That makes it worth checking the IP itself, beyond the provider’s description. TBH, seeing two IP checkers give you different labels is frustrating, especially when you’re already trying to figure out why a site won’t load. Part of the confusion comes from what they’re checking: • Who the address is registered to. • Which network routes it. • Whether there are signs of server hosting. Static residential proxies (also called ISP proxies) can use ISP-registered addresses while running on datacenter servers. A residential label and a hosting label can both describe parts of that setup. So we’d start by finding your proxy’s exit IP, the address websites see, then check: → ASN and registry records for the network and registered holder. → The hostname and published cloud ranges for signs of hosting. → More than one IP database to compare their labels. Together, these checks help you judge whether the address matches what you bought. They won’t tell you exactly what device is behind the IP, but they can save you time when you’re trying to figure out what’s wrong.

One line here stood out: the pECX faucet was hit by proxy farmers within hours. It’s a good example of why an IP address shouldn’t be treated as a unique user. Rotating connections can make repeat claims appear to come from different people. For faucet builders, IP limits are only one layer. Wallet history, traffic patterns and additional verification matter too.
Bitcoin Hard Fork: eCash Beta Is Live Bitcoin's biggest limitation has always been change itself. New functionality means years of soft fork debate, while L1 stays intentionally frozen to protect the monetary base. Drivechains (BIP 300/301) fix this: sidechains pegged to BTC, independent of L1. Succeed, and Bitcoin gains new utility and fee revenue. Fail, and L1 is untouched. eCash is the first real network built on this model, and Alpha proved it. Hashrate hit 9.44 PH/s, 7 independent pools mined blocks, and the community shipped a bunch of tools unprompted: 1/ pecx.shop / peesex.shop - first pECX↔BTC AMM, built in days 2/ szats.world - pECX faucet, hit by proxy farmers within hours 3/ explorer.alpha.ecash.ninja - the first block explorer 4/ eCashPool & NurseryPool - community mining pools, one paying out in Thunder on principle 5/ ecashmeter.com - drivechain fee tracker, flipped live weeks early 6/ The eCash Splitter - official coin-splitting tool, GUI + CLI, shipped mid-alpha New drivechains proposed. Blind merge mining tested live. Consensus bugs diagnosed by block height and root cause, faster than most funded eng teams manage. Beta is now live: ecash.com/join Beta improves the pECX burn rate 👉 1,000 pECX → 20 real ECX (up from 10 in Alpha) The pECX tokens are in addition, not instead of the original 1:1 airdrop. Every BTC holder still gets ECX 1:1 at full launch on October 31 regardless. Burning pECX now is a bonus on top of that, extra ECX for showing up early. Receiving and splitting: Hold BTC non-custodially at the fork block, you get equal ECX automatically, nothing moves or converts. eCash uses opt-in protection, not built-in, so every wallet and exchange keeps working on day one, but that means until you split, moving BTC could move your ECX too. Splitting is a one-time fix, three ways to do it, two are one-tap in official eCash software, the third uses standard Bitcoin tooling only. BTC on an exchange? You can't split yourself. We're in touch with exchanges about crediting ECX, or you can withdraw to self-custody before Oct 31 and split it yourself. 👉 ecash.com/join

pro tip: Before deleting duplicates from scraped data, check what each row represents. the same product could show up across sellers or dates. we’d check seller + observation time too, because deduping on product ID alone can wipe out actual price history

Global digital ad spend was forecast to reach $753B in 2026 by @juniperresearch. And if you're running ads across several countries, it's probably worth checking how they actually appear in each market. Proxies let you run checks through IP addresses in your target countries so your team can inspect the creative, placement and landing page from those locations and flag anything that needs fixing. So if you're an agency or a marketer looking to check that your ads appear as intended across your target markets, check us out: proxy-cheap.com/use-cases/ad…

Say you want to collect prices from 100,000 product pages on an online store. → If 60 out of every 100 requests return usable data, you’ll need roughly 167,000 attempts → At 90 out of 100, it’s about 111,000. That’s a third fewer requests, assuming those rates stay steady That matters because failed requests can still consume paid bandwidth, depending on your plan, and fewer requests won’t necessarily cut bandwidth by the same amount, since response sizes vary. What we'd compare is the total job cost divided by the usable records collected. A cheap proxy can be good value, but constant retries and repairs can quickly eat up those savings.

One thing people forget about crypto is how transparent it is. Anyone can look up a wallet and see what it holds, the tokens it has traded, and the contracts it has interacted with. So if you’re researching new tokens, checking holder wallets, or browsing project sites before making a trade, it makes sense to keep that activity separate from the browser profile you use to connect and sign with your wallet. A dedicated proxy profile can help create that separation. It won’t change what’s visible onchain, but it can reduce unnecessary web tracking while you do your research.

Your proxy can be set up properly and a site can still show you the wrong region. Annoying, but it happens. With SOCKS5, DNS can be resolved either on your device or through the proxy. In cURL, that’s the difference between socks5:// and socks5h://. If DNS resolves locally, you may be sent to a CDN server based on your real location instead of your proxy location. So if the IP looks right but the site doesn’t, DNS is one of the first things worth checking.

Buying a native IP is about choosing the right proxy type and making sure the IP’s location records actually support the country advertised. → Static residential and ISP proxies work well for fixed country-specific IPs → Rotating residential proxies are better suited to larger-scale traffic → Mobile proxies provide IPs associated with carrier networks → Data center IPs can also be native Before scaling up, check a few IPs against their registry allocation, BGP origin, and multiple geolocation databases. We’ve rolled out several product fixes and reliability improvements this week. Here’s what’s new ↓ 1️⃣ Enhanced IP Quality → You can now see directly on the order screen if an IP with your selected enhanced score is unavailable. Previously, this was only shown at the final checkout step. → Proxies purchased with Enhanced IP Quality will now renew with the same enhanced score selection. 2️⃣ Dashboard experience → Fixed an issue that could cause incorrectly formatted credentials when copying or downloading your proxy details. → Updated the typography across our website and dashboard for a more consistent visual experience. 3️⃣ Proxy reliability → Fixed an issue that could cause some mobile proxy orders to remain undelivered. → Improved connection reliability when an exit node is unavailable.

53% of all web traffic in 2025 came from bots, but not all of it is bad. → Google uses bots to find and index new pages → SEO tools use them to check websites for technical issues → Price-monitoring tools use them to keep product data up to date The difference comes down to purpose and behavior because good bots perform legitimate tasks and respect website limits, while bad bots abuse services or disrupt normal traffic. So, don’t judge a bot just for being a bot. Look at what it’s actually doing.
