As we celebrate #Juneteenth and the steps that have been made to end #slavery, we need to also remember the that #ModernSlavery continues in our own countries and that we continue to allow it and support its existence around the world. May we keep working for freedom for all.
While we celebrate #Juneteenth, we need to remember that liberation is not yet finished. Just a few days ago, the US Supreme Court ruled that enslaved people in the cocoa industry cannot sue the companies who knew and profited off of their bondage.
