🚨NEWS FLASH: The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested popular TikTok creator Amani Ishaq along with two other women, Hauwa Khamis and Sa’adatu Muhammad, over social media dance videos the board says violate the state’s moral and religious standards. Deputy Commander Dr. Mujahid Aminuddeen confirmed the arrests, noting that the three appeared before Magistrate Court No. 5 on Court Road in Kano while investigations continue. Hisbah specifically accused Ishaq of posting TikTok dance content it considers inconsistent with Islamic teachings and standards of proper upbringing.

Fishing out the young man will do nothing. This is an entrenched ideology. But for starters, they need to arrest the leaders of the group, jail them and ban it from operations. Make an example of them so others like them see it.

Just watched a disturbing video of this Izala (JIBWIS) Agaji member singing gyration song while leading his team, saying: "Given me AK-47 so that I will go to Enugu and klll infldels (arna) on Sunday while they are praying and happy. Give me guns to go to Jos and klll more infldels - that is the Sunnah, that is the training." You may think this is just music or a joke, but deep down, that is their true mindset. The only thing standing between them and carrying out such thoughts is the secular state and its laws. Sani Yahaya Jingir and Bala Lau, as leaders of Izala, must bring this boy to book; otherwise, they should be held accountable for aiding and abetting terrorism.
