@FlySWISS Your boarding gate agent is racist. She let so many people through with larger personal items than mine and the same sized carryon luggage, but forced me to check my carryon luggage. She said my bag wouldn’t fit under the seat. You can see very clearly it fits.

So. Freaking. Tired. At Düsseldorf Airport waiting for first flight! It’s going to be a looong journey home. Once I reach Toronto at around 5:30 pm, still have to get to my car & then a three hour drive home.
Getting food from an Arab taco shop in Essen near my hotel, and I’m the only woman here! There are 16 men here and then me. Weird. Where are the women?! They have to eat too!! 😹 the halloumi tacos from here are so good! Had them the other night!

Even traveling to Essen from a European city instead of the USA was such a freaking pain. From hotel to metro to bus to plane to train to another train to taxi to hotel! Finally on my way to the halls to walk around while they’re empty! 🥰 that’s one of the most fun parts!!!

Found a good, reasonably priced local plumber! He’s fixing the leak!! I’m still working on finalizing my prototype, then I need to pack, and then leave for the airport which is three hours away 😰 wish me luck!!!
It’s always fucking something 😩 of course I’d discover a leak in my basement the night before I leave the country for 10 days. FML. This house is a fucking money pit. Sigh.
Five trials DONE! One very big one immediately after I return 😩 But now I need to finalize my prototype tonight, pack, get a bunch of stuff ready for people who are taking care of colony cats and my two cats for me, etc.! So much to do before I leave for Barcelona tomorrow!! 😰
FML. I had to euthanize two more snails this evening when their shells were broken while I was helping a fellow community cat caretaker with her colony 😔 I’m so sorry, snails. If I’d seen you, I would’ve done everything I could to move you to safety first. This sucks so much.
I had to euthanize a snail 🐌 today whose shell I accidentally broke 😩 was one of the hardest things I had to do. I swear, if people had to kill all the animals themselves that they eat, more people would be vegetarians or vegans!!! Sigh 😔
