We are less than 2 months away from my favorite Christmas tradition: Chicago TubaChristmas 😁
Baritone/Euphonium and Tuba players across the country get together in towns and cities across the US to play Christmas carols.
I have performed at the Chicago TubaChristmas every year since my freshman year in high school - 2002.
Despite moving to Texas in 2018, I still haven’t missed one 😁.
If you have never experienced a TubaChristmas, I would highly recommend checking it out! Visit the TubaChristmas website to see the nearest event in your area 😁.
How about a spooky themed photo?
📍Alcatraz
I’ve heard stories of cell 13 at Alcatraz, which is one of the old solitary confinement cells. People talk of hauntings and weird things that occur.
Shortly after I took this photo, my wife and I walked into cell 13 which was open on cell on D block.
I will admit, walking into that cell gave me a sense of vertigo I never experience.
It did not feel right.
Happy Halloween!! We did Marvel themed costumes this year. The Mrs. put the preggo belly to good use 😅
My maternal grandpa was born and raised in Mexico. He moved to the states in the ‘50s, where he met my grandma. A red headed American with a whole lot of Irish ancestry.
Fast forward 5 children and many grandchildren later, they bought a time share in this beautiful city - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
I was fortunate enough to visit this city several times during my childhood, up until I was about 13.
After that, there was 2 decade gap between my next visit.
I recently had the opportunity to visit with my wife and son. The memories that came flooding back were amazing.
My grandpa is currently 95 years old, and my grandma, unfortunately, passed a few years ago after a long battle with Alzheimers.
In my memories, I could see her red, vibrant hair bouncing around these beaches. ❤️
