Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the update. To go back to 1.11 you can re-save your scenes in 2.0 via "Save as" and select Legacy format in the file dialog. Just note; new features like drawing, gifs and rich text notes will be lost when you save as legacy format.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues! We've had reports of PureRef 1.11 crashing when it tries to display the update dialog. You can disable checking for updates in the settings menu or by editing the settings file; add this under [General_Settings]: CheckForUpdates=false

Thanks for the feedback, is it a lot of text in the notes? And does it improve if you zoom out a bit? If you're able to share the scene with us we would love to take a look and see if we can do anything about it in an upcoming version.
