In loving memory of Feather and Porkchop! I’m a history addict too, especially medieval and classical history. ❀️

I think if I ever wrote anything, it might be a short story, or like I said, a book for young teenagers.

I sometimes think I know too much stuff. And I’m too old now to be very motivated. Maybe if I was younger and more energetic. And there are still so many great books to read! The time to read them is limited now, and it never was before.

I actually started out with a major fascination for Ancient Rome! From reading my dad’s books, I guess. I bought every book I saw about it for years. I liked classical Greece and ancient Assyria too, but there aren’t many books about that.

I’m flattered that you think I could do it! I’ll keep it in mind, although I honestly think I’d be better at writing a book for kids, maybe aged 8-12, if anything. I still have the books I loved at that age, and they wouldn’t be as difficult.

My mom used to think that too! But I could do the writing only if someone handed me a plot to work from. That part is beyond me, although I could play with it a bit to make it original. Is your book a fictional story, or a modern or historical fiction based on facts?

He’s a Russian asset, but he’s too stupid to be an actual agent. He’s too indiscreet and can’t keep his mouth shut. Didn’t he already get one agent killed during his first term by giving away classified information?

You’re right. I wasn’t paying enough attention to local politics, with so much going on in the rest of the world. I know it’s no excuse, just an explanation of sorts.

Wow! Did you like acting? I think if I had ever had a talent for it, I would have wanted to act in a Shakespeare play. Not a modern movie.

That’s a perfect quote! I never lay awake at night thinking about myself and my problems. Thanks to my books, there are so many other places and times I can go to in my imagination that are much more interesting. ❀️

That’s awesome! I loved Duthie’s Books when I lived in Vancouver, and I miss it. It had poetry, history, classical literature and all kinds of books, not just bestsellers. I’m glad we can get so many online now. It helps!

Yes, I love Shakespeare! I have his complete works. A huge book that cost $100 years ago, a fortune at the time, but well worth it. ❀️
