Your customers are asking ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity who to hire.
Do they name you?
Reply YES with your business type + town and I'll run a free 3-question Mini-Scan: who AI names when someone asks for what you do.
Details in the reply 👇
Query growth doesn't tell a local business much if the answer only names three companies. In our 100 live test runs across the 5 AI assistants, a 5 star service business got named in just 2 of 45 answers when people asked who to hire. More searches, same handful of winners. Is anyone tracking how many brands actually get named per answer?
I find it interesting how much of Google's messaging over the past two years has revolved around its "search query growth rate."
(You know, like how every follow-up message in AI Mode can count as another search query 🙄)
But where are the metrics showing that search is actually getting better?
Where's the evidence that AI-generated answers are more accurate and trustworthy than what was there before?
How do we know users are genuinely having a better search experience now with AI, beyond vague claims that "users really like it"?
Do more search queries inherently mean users are having a better experience? What if they're searching more because AI Overviews or AI Mode didn't give them what they needed in the first place?
(Like when navigational searches generate AIOs that point to every URL except the one you're actually looking for, or AI citations that point to URLs that don't contain the information that corresponds to their position in the AI answer)
And what about whether the creators and publishers whose content powers these answers are being treated fairly?
It seems like Google is laser-focused on proving that its AI products are winning the race for users and search volume, while sidestepping these other, existentially important questions.
Despite how many times we ask.
Every home humanoid launch keeps proving the same point. Folding clothes and putting things away is the real test, not a stage demo. Still waiting on NEO from @1x_tech to ship so we can see how it handles a house with two boys and a teenage girl in it. Which one actually lands in a living room first?
Household humanoid robots are multiplying
Hisense just showed Savvy 02, its second home humanoid--You could call it an adult humanoid butler.Bigger than the first one, with 28 DoF, 5 kg+ per arm, and 1.5 m/s on an omnidirectional base.
It can fold clothes, put things away, prep food, feed the pet, and run the washer and fridge. Foldable torso helps it move through the house, though it still can’t do stairs...Workspace is roughly a 3 m diameter cylinder, 0–2 m high.
So,it can also be extended to service venues such as restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets.

Major appliance brands are moving into home robotics for a reason. Smart appliances can connect, communicate and automate individual tasks, but people still do much of the physical work.
Home robots could fill that gap, connecting washing machines, refrigerators, robot vacuums and other devices into a coordinated household automation system.
A smart home that doesn't just respond to commands, but gets things done.
It's time to give people back the hours they spend on housework.

Today marks one year since 1X opened pre-orders for NEO, its humanoid robot built for the home. I pre ordered one. One year ago.
At the time, 1X announced an Early Access price of $20,000, with deliveries planned for 2026.
We have 2 months left in the year and I really hope they don’t have to delay it till next year.
Player two has entered the chat. 🎮

Customers now ask AI who to hire. Most local businesses never get named.
A 5-star service business: AI praised it by name 5 of 5 times. Asked who to hire? Named in 2 of 45 answers.
Agencies often charge $500+ to find this. Mine is $79.

Agency prices: peekl.io, broadcastwell.com and citedmetrics.com, checked Oct 22. If the audit doesn't help, tell me within 7 days and I'll make it right or refund you.
Most owners have never asked ChatGPT who it recommends for what they do.
Their customers have.
The AI Search Visibility Audit shows your customers' real questions, what each assistant answers, who gets named instead of you, and what to fix first.

Asking for more money while refusing the tools that make you faster looks like a fast way to signal you are not paying attention. The raise goes to the person who ships more with less support, not the one who pretends the shift is optional.
Apps inside Search and Gemini will be huge for service businesses. In our 100 live test runs across the 5 AI assistants for 20 small businesses, 12 got zero mentions when buyers asked who to hire. If AI never names you, nobody opens your app.
Some takeaways from the Alphabet 2026 Q3 Earnings Call:

30% lighter with 30% more capacity is the stat that matters most for home robots. A humanoid that taps out halfway through laundry and dishes never feels like real help. Has XPeng said whether IRON swaps packs or goes back to a dock to charge?
Humanoid robot batteries are becoming a key part of the deployment equation.
XPeng’s dedicated solid-state battery for IRON has entered small-batch production.
At today’s SAECCE annual conference,XPENG VP Gu Jie says it is about 30% lighter and offers 30% more capacity than conventional liquid lithium-ion batteries. It also features thermal runaway containment measures and has reportedly passed impact and nail-penetration tests.
Other companies are exploring different approaches:
>UBTECH Walker S2: autonomous battery swapping in ~3 minutes.(Both Boston Dynamics’ Atlas and Hexagon’s AEON feature autonomous battery swapping.)
>Agility Digit 5: 90 minutes of operation, 9 minutes to recharge, with early access planned for H1 2027.
>Figure 03: a 2.3 kWh battery, 2 kW charging and wireless charging coils built into its feet.
>Tesla Optimus: a custom battery pack integrated into its torso, with Optimus also being envisioned for plugging in Tesla Robotaxis to charge them.
Higher energy density helps robots carry more energy. Fast charging, battery swapping and autonomous docking help keep them working.
The real metric is productive hours per day, not just battery life.

Nobody bought a smartphone for one app. A home has a thousand small jobs that never happen the same way twice, which is why a humanoid like NEO from @1x_tech makes more sense than ten single task gadgets. Which chore proves it first?
Melissa still thinks the robot is the scariest thing on our street. Happy Halloween! 🎃
