Indeed.
Imagine that! One of the greatest offensive football players of the 21st century has a really good feel for offensive football.
Really can’t stand the whole HS coaching experience thing regarding Coach Witten. How are we acting like being a HoF TE has no bearing or relevance to his OC ability. Listening to you ‘experts’ is exhausting…
Been saying this…
Mike McDaniel on the proliferation of pure-progression offenses in the NFL, and the risk of QBs losing track of defenders during the progression.
McDaniel said he spoke with Justin Herbert about this specifically earlier in the season.

10 point favorites on the road and demolished them by 29.
Sixkiller with a casual 450 passing yards.
THIRTEEN different receivers had at least one reception. Genuinely incredible.
7-1 with no losses to FCS opposition. The dream season continues. #RollHumps 🐪

Everyone’s been running the Counter Bluff with TE Arrow Screen
This is a nice wrinkle from Florida State!

Don't freaking take your foot off the pedal now.
Some coaches start pulling back in practice.
They're trying to keep players fresh and healthy.
There's a right way and a wrong way.
The wrong way is reducing the intensity of practice and creating an easier environment.
The right way is reducing the amount of TIME at practice.
The intensity stays high.
I talked to a P4 head coach this season about load management.
The number 1 factor they found to manage player load was simply time.
Reduce time for a period and you reduce player load.
Trying to reduce the intensity of a period never works.
And this is backed by GPS data.
QB’s set your damn feet when you can and stop panicking. Gotta hang in there #lostart
Get on the 🚢 before it’s too late!

‼️ Joy is a competitive advantage ‼️
The mainstream perception of ‘good coaching’ is screaming at players, no joking around and no fun on the floor. A lot of coaches, players and fans view fun and hard work as an ‘either, or’.
Every competitive coach struggles with this. There isn’t one who hasn’t lost the joy amidst the grind.
BUT….
When JOY AND HARD WORK are in SYNC, it’s game over. 👇🏼

Hunger & a Want To type of effort. Unbelievable job and ultimately one of the biggest difference makers in the game of football. He was not going to be denied!
