بالتعاون مع المنظمة الخليجية للبحث والتطوير (جورد)، سعدنا باستقبال وفد من طلبة كلية العمارة بجامعة الكويت، في زيارة ميدانية إلى #مترو_الدوحة. واطلع الطلبة خلال الزيارة على طبيعة التصميم المعماري للمترو ومحطاته الحاصلة على شهادات المنظومة العالمية لتقييم الاستدامة (جي ساس)، فضلا عن التعرف على معايير الاستدامة المعتمدة في شبكة المترو. In collaboration with @gordmena, we welcomed a delegation of architecture students from Kuwait University for a field visit to #DohaMetro. The students explored the Metro’s architectural design, its stations certified under the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS), and the sustainability standards adopted across the network.

ضمن فعاليات منتدى الابتكار القيادي 2026، شارك جاسم محمد الأنصاري، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الرّيل، في جلسة حوارية بعنوان «بنية مستدامة: كيف تحولت البنية التحتية في قطر إلى منظومة وطنية متكاملة»، والتي سلط من خلالها الضوء على تجربة الشركة في بناء القدرات الوطنية ونقل المعرفة وتعزيز المرونة والكفاءة التشغيلية، وأهمية التخطيط والتكامل المؤسسي في ضمان استدامة منظومة النقل وتطويرها لتلبية احتياجات الأجيال القادمة. As part of the Leadership Innovation Forum 2026, Jassim Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of Qatar Rail, participated in the event, highlighting Qatar Rail’s experience in developing national capabilities, transferring knowledge, and strengthening operational resilience and efficiency to support a sustainable transport ecosystem for future generations.

Our colleague Kholoud Al-Dosari, Cybersecurity Specialist at Qatar Rail and recipient of the “Future National Talent” Award at the inaugural Qatar Private Sector Nationalisation Award 2026, shares insights into her role and contributions to cybersecurity initiatives. She also reflects on the moment she learned she had won the award, a proud milestone that celebrates Qatari talent and highlights the importance of empowering national professionals to develop.

على هامش معرض سيتي سكيب قطر 2026، وقعت شركة الرّيل ومجموعة بروة العقارية اتفاقية شراكة لبحث فرص التعاون في مجالات التطوير والاستثمار العقاري، والاستفادة من خبرات وإمكانات الجانبين لتطوير فرص ومشاريع مشتركة. وتهدف الشراكة إلى استكشاف فرص تطوير واستثمار الأراضي والأصول العقارية التابعة لشركة الرّيل، بما يعزز قيمتها الاستثمارية ويدعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة لمشاريع البنية التحتية. At Cityscape Qatar 2026, Qatar Rail and Barwa Real Estate Group signed a partnership agreement to explore joint real estate development and investment opportunities, drawing on their combined expertise and capabilities. The partnership focuses on developing and investing in Qatar Rail’s real estate assets to enhance their investment value while supporting sustainable infrastructure development.

سعدنا باستقبال وفد من مركز الشفلح للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في شبكة #مترو_الدوحة، حيث تعرّف الوفد على المرافق والخدمات التي تسهّل تنقّل ذوي الإعاقة في محطاتنا. ونواصل جهودنا لتوفير تجربة تنقّل ميسّرة وشمولية لمختلف فئات المجتمع. We were pleased to welcome a delegation from Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities to #DohaMetro network, where they explored the facilities and services that support accessible travel across our network. We remain committed to making every journey accessible and inclusive for all passengers.

ترأس سعادة الشيخ محمد بن عبدالله بن محمد آل ثاني، وزير المواصلات، اجتماع مجلس إدارة شركة الرّيل، الذي عُقد في المقر الرئيسي للشركة، وجرى خلاله استعراض أبرز منجزات الشركة خلال الفترة الماضية، ومناقشة الخطط والأهداف الاستراتيجية والمشاريع المستقبلية. كما وجّه سعادته بمواصلة تعزيز العمل على أولويات الشركة ودفع مشاريعها المستقبلية قدمًا، بما يواكب متطلبات المرحلة المقبلة. H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport, chaired Qatar Rail’s Board of Directors meeting at the company’s headquarters. The Board reviewed the company’s key achievements and discussed its strategic plans, objectives, and future projects. His Excellency emphasized the importance of advancing the company’s priorities and future projects in line with the requirements of the next phase.

We were pleased to receive a recognition award from Lusail University during its Partners Recognition Ceremony, in appreciation of our participation in the university’s Career Fair, which provided an opportunity to connect employers with promising young graduates. سعدنا باستضافة وفد طلابي من جامعة حمد بن خليفة في زيارة ميدانية بدأت من مستودع #مترو_الدوحة، وصولًا إلى محطة مشيرب، تعرّف خلالها الطلاب على العمليات التشغيلية والجوانب الهندسية والتقنية في قطاع السكك الحديدية. وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار حرصنا على مشاركة المعرفة والخبرات مع الجيل القادم، ودعم تنمية الكفاءات في قطاع النقل بدولة قطر. We were pleased to welcome students from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) on a field visit, starting at the #DohaMetro depot and continuing by metro to Msheireb Station. The visit offered students a closer look at railway operations, engineering, and technical functions, reflecting our commitment to sharing knowledge and supporting the next generation of talent in Qatar’s transport sector.
