Wasn't expecting too much from #JamesBondDay, but this is a lovely little surprise. A new Bond-centric adventure from Ian Fleming Publications set within the era of the original novels? Lovely.
It's time for 007 to Go All In.
This #JamesBondDay we're pleased to announce a brand-new Bond adventure, All In, to celebrate the National Year of Reading. It has been written by Sunday Times bestselling author and National Year of Reading ambassador @dgjones.
Paying tribute to Ian Fleming's fourth novel, Diamonds are Forever, 70 years after its publication, the action of this new 007 novella finds Bond in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) in 1954, on a mission to track down one of the most valuable stones in the world...
Out on December 3rd, hardback copies will be exclusively available from ianflemingshop.com, whilst the eBook and audio editions will be available from all usual outlets.

Casino Royale without question, but Quantum of Solace is a fascinating approach to a Bond movie from Eon.
I say this as someone who actually rather loves the movie, but No Time to Die's legacy in the long run is going to be truly fascinating.
“It wasn’t just marking the moment of Daniel leaving the Bond series; it felt like a moment of tremendous importance in the history of cinema.” – Barbara Broccoli, Producer.
NO TIME TO DIE was released on this day in 2021. It is the 25th film in the Bond series and Daniel Craig’s final performance as James Bond.
Long story short, I took a social media sabbatical, uninstalled Twitter/X, took a trip back home, watched a lot of Bond with my younger brother and hung out with family and friends. Now I'm back. Am I ready to get back to work and posting about Bond? With pleasure. #BondTwitter
Yes he did. I ADORED Dalton which is where my 007 journey really begins. If I had to sum it up, Dalton's Bond is who I loved to watch and imagine in the books, but as a teenager in the 90s, Brosnan's Bond is who I wanted to be. #BondTwitter #JamesBond
Despite a brief flirtation with the role in 1986, Pierce Brosnan wouldn’t realise his boyhood dream of becoming #JamesBond until 1995’s GOLDENEYE, but did his version of 007 immediately win you over?

One of the things I've missed since my move to the US is the lack of big-screen reissues of Bond, at least at my local, but they will be playing these and I'm beyond excited. Two of them I haven't seen of the silver screen.

The look of anger in Bond's face when he pops the balloon is one of my favorite moments in all of cinematic Bond. I genuinely believe that this is a man capable of using a licence to kill. Bam bam bam.
Came across Mission: Impossible II playing on Pluto TV and a few thoughts;
1. It's ridiculous, but good fun.
2. I'll always remember being 16 years old in 2000, adoring the movie and Limp Bizkit.
3. Thandiwe Newton is amongst the most beautiful people alive in this movie.
#NowWatching: The Living Daylights.
It's been a minute since I last watched it. Chilled evening with Dalton and d'Abo, and some crackingly good Pretenders songs. #JamesBond

Look, it's not Shakespeare, but I always find the "I collect...memories" line quite something.
I'll let myself out, thanks.

When you've had a creative morning, a good lunch, a drink or two and you're heading home listening to Bond soundtracks with the notion in your head that you might watch a Connery Bond. #JamesBond
