Some people spend so much time hating your moves, they forget they have no moves of their own

Sometimes, I think marriage and adulthood is a prison. When you get sad, angry and tearful, you can't even run back to your mother's house for comfort.
Adulthood demands you take charge of it all!

As you begin another week, and experience another wonderful Monday, I'd like you to know that "Not every smile is harmless." 🙂
Sad I know, but it is the reality we find ourselves.
Some people smile with you while secretly competing with you. Some laugh at your jokes while
During lockdown, when Mr. P was sharing money on Facebook, I was so tempted to also drop my account because other celebrities were doing giveaways back to back and people were winning..
After battling with shame….I went to Facebook and dropped my account. A few minutes after I dropped it, I got a call from a family member I never even knew had my Facebook name.
He called me by my Igbo name: “Nkeiruka, go and delete that account you dropped on that post, obu na agu na agu gi ekwo, stop embarrassing yourself.”
I started imagining how many people had seen that comment. I was so ashamed of myself.
That was my first and last time.
But I see people not only dropping their accounts but sharing their deepest family problems just to win the giveaway 😩

Just heard that my mum's niece who donated blood to a woman that was booked for emergency CS last week, fainted yesterday and was rushed to hospital.
God please, for the sake that she donated her own blood freely to save 2 lives that was in distress.
Please give her a quick recovery.🙏
Please if you see this post, help me and say a prayer for my cousin 🙏🙏.
Imagine being an elderly woman walking down the street when someone suddenly tries to steal your handbag. 😳
That’s what this video from the UK appears to show.
Bystanders step in to stop the man, but the situation quickly turns aggressive.
Police eventually use a taser to bring him under control.
What bothers me most is that an elderly woman couldn’t simply walk down the street without feeling threatened.
I respect the people who stepped in, although confronting an aggressive suspect can be dangerous.
And personally, I don’t care where someone comes from or what religion they follow.
If you commit a crime, you should be held accountable.
Would you have stepped in to help her or called the police?

Reconciliation is not about who was right or wrong; it's about choosing peace over pride, understanding over anger, and rebuilding what is worth saving. Sometimes, one sincere conversation can heal a broken relationship.
I will never understand the concept of giving someone 10% of my hard-earned money…someone who did absolutely no work for me.
Tight is such a fraudulent act!!
So single mothers don't get bride price in Yoruba land? 👀
I have a female family friend who has been dating a guy for two years. They were preparing for their marriage introduction, and he took her to meet his parents.
Before anything went further, she told them she already had a child out of wedlock. The child’s father denied and she has been raising the child alone.
To her surprise, his parents said they would accept her into the family, but they would not pay her bride price because she already had a child.
When she questioned it, her boyfriend told her not to take it personally because that’s how they do it in Yoruba land.
She told him if they wouldn’t pay her bride price because she has a child, he shouldn’t bother marrying her.
This is very new to me tho.

The family sold almost everything trying to save someone they loved.
The savings disappeared. The debts piled up. And the person they were desperately trying to bring home never returned.
Afterwards, the house felt different. Every phone call brought fear. Every quiet evening brought back the same painful question: what else could we have done?
Kidnapping doesn't only steal lives. It steals peace, savings, and the feeling that your family is safe.
Some families lose a loved one and their entire future in the same tragedy.

Some homes haven't even seen light this year.
Health care budget for the whole country was capped at 36M, while the budget for the Ebola outbreak is 10 billion!.

Have you been throwing away Potato and yam peels?
Don't anymore.
1. Soak them in cold water overnight and thereafter
2. Add salt, a pinch of sugar and lemon juice.
3. Then leave the mixture under hot sun for 6 hours for the water to evaporate. After the water has evaporated.
Wrap the peels in a black polythene bag and wait for 10 minutes before carefully throwing them in a dustbin because I don't know what you are trying to prepare.

Imagine a birthday party where the celebrant has spent weeks planning every detail.
The outfits are ready. The food is sorted. The photographer is taking beautiful pictures.
But after the greetings and pictures, the room starts losing energy.
Then the band strikes up a familiar tune.
One table starts singing. An uncle who has been quietly observing all evening gets up to dance. The celebrant forgets about the pictures and starts enjoying the moment.
Suddenly, the party feels alive.
That's the difference a well-managed live music experience can make. The goal isn't just to perform songs; it's to help create moments people will talk about long after the event.
