I built The Adero House for the Lovable Challenge on @contra.
A bespoke menswear studio based in Maitama, Abuja, owned and led by Deola Adero, Founder & Lead Designer.
Customers can choose their outfits, check production availability, book an appointment, pay their deposit and get automated updates without the usual back and forth.
The system handles the deposit, booking confirmation, reminders, rescheduling and the rest of the order journey.
On the other side, Deola gets the booking, payment and production workflow in one admin dashboard.
From “Can I book?” to “You’re booked.”
Built with Lovable. 🫶🏽

Why are lots of people saying this would kill video editors or take their jobs..
while I in fact think this would be a big edge for video editors
No?
We’re excited to announce our new CapCut plugin is coming soon to @ChatGPT at CapCutWorldLA.
The plugin brings CapCut's video editing and generation tools alongside ChatGPT. You can start with an idea in ChatGPT, bring it to life with the CapCut plugin right inside ChatGPT, then take your draft video to CapCut's web editor to refine, share and publish.
By bringing the CapCut product you already love and use in ChatGPT, we're making content creation more seamless and efficient.

saw this last night, shipped it this morning
Netro Signal now watches 20 big accounts across
solana, base, hyperliquid and more,
and pings you when a fresh project follows them
free on [@ netrosignal_bot], just send /follows on
One useful tool I'd love to see someone build is an X or Telegram bot that alerts users whenever a new project follows a major account within a particular ecosystem.
Here's the thinking.
When new projects start building on ecosystems like Solana or Base, one of the first things they often do is follow the ecosystem's official X account, founders, and other influential voices.
These follow patterns could serve as early signals for discovering emerging projects, sometimes before they gain significant attention.
Imagine a bot tracking these activities and sending real-time alerts, helping researchers, job seekers, and ecosystem contributors discover projects early.
Of course, a follow doesn't necessarily mean a project is legitimate or building on that chain, but it could be a useful discovery signal.
Who's building something like this already? Or does it exist?

Blockfest Day 1 was more than amazing
I attended two sessions at the nontechnical room and these are some of the things I learned:
1️⃣ How to build your personal brand: Bibi Eneje started by dividing some persons into three groups and gave them a task of building a brand for their new business (she gave them the specific product to use). She asked them to come up with the tagline, pitch and create an ad for that particular product at a limited timeframe.
Group A eventually won because their presentation was superb.
Building your personal brand is way beyond your logo or even your social media page. It’s about how you make people feel and what they say about you when you’re not in the room. Your personality, your values, your etiquette and carriage. In other words, your brand is your reputation built from repetition.
So let me ask you, who is VicsClarissa? You can drop your thoughts in the comments. (I’ll use this to test those who actually read this post)
For your social media page, your profile picture should be a clear headshot, your bio should communicate what you offer, who you offer them to and the results you achieve.
Another thing to understand is, it’s good to niche down to a particular segment in a particular niche when you’re starting out. Don’t spread yourself too thin. Then if you’re building in more than one niche, find a link (word) that connects all at once and use it so it’s not cumbersome.
2️⃣ Building audiences beyond hype: I anticipated this session and it was facilitated by @LionessAtEase. She spoke on community being the moat and also on distribution.
There are two kinds of community: attention and impact and there’s a difference between them. Attention creates an opportunity for you but how you maximize that opportunity will determine its impact on the lifecycle of your brand.
For instance, your content went viral. Of course that’s a good thing, meaning that a huge amount of people saw that content as well. You celebrate and that’s it.
No, you shouldn’t stop there. You now have attention on your brand. You need to convert that attention immediately into something long lasting, i.e make an impression or impact on those persons.
How do you do it? By showcasing what you do aggressively in your content to nurture your audience, sending DMs to the new (target) audience and building that relationship with them, adding them to an enclosed group if you have any (it’s advisable to have your own community channel), continuing in that motion and not relaxing because you think you’ve arrived.
The best thing you can do for your personal brand is:
-Be different
-Communicate your value clearly non-stop
-Distribute your content - by leveraging borrowed attention, that is, quoting people who already have the numbers and sharing your opinion/thoughts on the content they made, etc. In other words, making sure new people are seeing you regularly and not just the same old persons.
This session was an eye opener for me and my profile was also audited. I noted the corrections and I’m ready to implement them moving on.
Kudos to the @blockfestafrica team for cooking so much this year. Looking forward to today’s sessions.
See you at Blockfest!
