Seahawks fan trying to make it seem like Bear fans are talking already. No we aren't. We're worried about JSN 😭

Woke up pissed at Ryan Poles
$66.1 MILLION of our cap space is spent on our defensive-line (22% of our cash) for one of the worst units in the league
We can’t even use zone coverage because our pass rush is abysmal
The only way to fix it is the draft, where this guy drafted his first dlineman in the 6TH ROUND
It’s just unserious roster construction and if we don’t win a ring you’ll know why

The #Bears are going to be active at the trade deadline, but there are levels to this.
It all comes down to aggressiveness.
Here is a list of potential players they could target, depending on how aggressive they're ready to be.

Well, all it took was one MNF game for me to almost be completely out on the idea of trading for Riq Woolen.
He's too much like Tyrique Stevenson.
If he could be had for a 7th rounder, then I'm all for it.

The way to contain JSN for the Bears next week is actually going to be getting pressure on Darnold.
I have little faith our corners can cover JSN so best way to stop him is to not let Darnold get him the football.
That and controlling time of possession.

If you tweet the Bears have a shot at beating defending Super Bowl champs Seattle on the road you'll have people blowing up your replies yelling you're delusional acting like you picked Miami or something ....
Reminds me of the Philly game last year.

Bears trade deadline thoughts:
I believe a deal for Khalil Mack is close to done. Rapoport, Schultz, and Glazer have all made strong remarks alluding to the deal. The timing makes a ton of sense too - the Chargers are coming off a bye, and the Bears bye is just two weeks away. That means extra rest & time to get acclimated in the system. If the deal gets done early this week I wouldn’t be surprised if he played on a pitch count at Seattle on MNF.
If they make more than one move I believe it will be CB. CB is a weakness. Jaylon Johnson is done. He’s gotten a longer leash than he deserves simply because of his contract. The truth is he hasn’t come close to playing to his contract. I couldn’t be more discouraged by his body language and effort.
If the Bears add a CB & Coby Bryant can get healthy and re-acclimated before the playoffs the secondary could go from a liability to a real strength.
I would be surprised if they moved a 1st (likely for Simmons or Ojomo), but I could sell myself on this idea pretty fast. Simmons is under contract through 2030 and Ojomo would get extended (just like they did with Montez Sweat). A cornerstone blue chip defensive lineman has been a need for many years. This solves that problem now and in the future, but it comes with a big cost.
By all accounts the Bears are a Super Bowl contender. Ben Johnson is the best football coach on the planet, you have to go for it all.
