Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ

IMO “Unitarian” is unnecessary. Let the Trinitarians use the extra biblical label for their extra biblical doctrine.

Ok. Strange the NT writers do not explain the argument to prove the necessity of the deity of Christ.

What about infallible church councils?

You are the one making arguments that no NT writer makes.

I already told you. Humans “by themselves” cannot atone. Thus, in order for Christ to atone, someone else had to raise him.

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence

Yep. Now go back to the first “I am” statement and start to understand the context.

Ok. Heb is clear the covenant maker is the Father. Otherwise it makes no sense if the covenant maker is his own mediator.

But the passages you provided do not dictate how God saves. If God saves through a man, I do not see any contradiction with an OT text.

They also do not say God must personally atone for sin, but that is your claim.

A simple survey of NT texts clearly and explicitly disagrees. The Father is the covenant maker. Jesus is the mediator of the NT. Just read Hebrews 8 for example.

Yes. The NT is very clear about who makes this covenant.

Jesus is not the covenant maker. Very clear in both testaments.
