The RSGB was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Trevor Hughes, G4WKJ. Trevor was a former volunteer at the RSGB National Radio Centre who was known for his warmth and friendliness. He designed the hugely popular Snail Morse key, which has been used to introduce amateur radio to thousands of children. In 2023, Trevor was given the ‘NRC Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award’.

I received this email yesterday:
"I regret to inform you that Doug Hendricks, KI6DS, passed away early this
morning. He was a giant in the QRP community and will be sorely missed in
many amateur radio circles."
We lost a big name in the QRP world. Our deepest condolences.
RAC had a great time at the Carp Hamfest today. Saw some familiar faces, some new ones, and got a new member along the way. Andrew Svensson, VA3ADX, welcome aboard and thanks for your support!
Un gros merci à Joel Brisson, directeur RAC pour l'Ontario Nord et Est pour la table.
