This summer, we welcomed Dr. Nana Ama Wiafe, a breast radiology fellow from Ghana, as she completed her United States rotations as part of her fellowship in becoming a breast radiologist. This fellowship is in collaboration with @RADAIDIntl, and we also locally partnered with The Liberty Hospital Foundation. It was wonderful having her and also understanding the challenges that her country faces in delivering #breastcancer care. Thank you to Kellie Houx of @myCTnews for writing such a wonderful piece about her time here as well as the changes she hopes to ignite in her country.
