FX100's third and fourth billion in testnet volume both landed in the same week.
The first one took three weeks. Week six added $1.34B and 393,294 new positions, more than a third of everything opened since the testnet went live 📈
Mainnet is expected on @base next month. An established chain, fourth biggest by DeFi TVL, and fast enough to matter. When your edge is a 15-minute window, it helps that blocks confirm in a fraction of a second.
Week Six, FX100 Public Testnet Report.
SIX WEEKS IN, FX100 HAS ALREADY CROSSED $4 BILLION IN TRADING VOLUME.
- $4,099,949,187 in trading volume
- 1,070,208 positions opened
- 40,866 unique wallets
- 18,389 referral codes used
Traders have now put FX100 through more than one million positions.
Why haven’t you joined the testnet?

Must-read. Great article from @rektdiomedes.
Didn't think I could get any more bullish on @protocol_fx, @FX100Perp and the people behind them. Turns out I could 😅

The team at @protocol_fx continues to absolutely kill it...
- TVL up 400%
- $fxUSD supply up over 400%
- $FXN token up over 100%
- @FX100Perp testnet a huge success
As I said previously I think they will end up being the #1 nascent defi darling of this coming cycle.
>>> Gigabrain team keeps shipping relentlessly through the bear...
>>> Crafts all sorts of insane new primitives...
>>> Finally achieves massive PMF and much-deserved success...
Is gonna be ridiculously wholesome 💪

No. Don’t listen to someone talking about “pumps”.
Waiting for grok’s summary, but the best “bull case” I can give is the following:
@curvefinance continues to develop and launch innovative, trustless, immutable, censorship-free products like llamalend v2, formal verification of their stableswap architecture, and the elimination of persistent impermanent loss via @yieldbasis cryptoswap pools. Curve has moved beyond being simply a stableswap DEX and into a full-blown DeFi suite for efficient capital management.
@convexfinance still sits in the governance controlling seat for Curve, but on top of that they also have a governance controlling seat for three other protocols: @protocol_fx @fraxfinance and @ResupplyFi. Specifically, Resupply, a legitimate sub-DAO, assists llamalend in making lending and borrowing on Curve very cheap with deep liquidity. Additionally, @protocol_fx now offers $fxUSD stablecoin loans backed by $ETH and $BTC that rarely ever have a borrowing cost, and when they do the lending cost is equal to or less than whatever AAVE is offering to borrow against $ETH and $BTC. Also, Convex has now moved their governance fully on-chain, making an extremely rare move for a defi protocol to further decentralize their protocol.
The Curve and Convex ecosystems continue to make improvements without sacrificing decentralization, immutability, and trustlessness. They are extremely well aligned with Ethereum’s core values.
I am bullish @CurveFinance and @ConvexFinance.

@protocol_fx has achieved so much, we’ve forgotten it’s zero VC funded.
Many more milestones to crush in future, we just getting started

Building index-tracking assets on top of options instead of debt
ethresear.ch/t/building-inde…
What if the use options as the base of defi, instead of CDPs and liquidations? So instead of extreme price movements creating a sharp and global "you get liquidated" effect, instead your exposure to the index diverges quadratically from your preferred exposure in a smoother way?
A key benefit is getting rid of the need for instant oracles, and instead making everything work on top of "slow oracles" (ie. the type that prediction markets use)
This design has a significant downside - the need to do regular rebalancing - and an open question of whether and how this rebalancing can be made slippage-resistant enough. But it's worth considering and trying IMO. I would feel much safer holding algostables inside something like this, than in something that depends on an oracle that has to give real-time answers (and therefore could be tricked into giving wrong real-time answers with no time for human recourse).

Hitting your kids is in the same category as circumcision, iPads, strict adherence to the CDC vaccine schedule---it is for Ns, goyim, and walmart pajama people. It lowers IQ (Straus, 1995), increases aggression (Gershoff, 2016), is less effective than a timeout, and requires escalation to keep working. The replies to articles like this are filled up with the Dumbest People Who Ever Existed saying "it worked for me" and then genuinely malicious and hateful morons dropping reaction gifs of like daffy duck swinging a belt
"EVERY STATE IN AMERICA ALLOWS YOU TO PHYSICALLY CORRECT YOUR CHILD. It's legal. It's fun. Bring it on." -- profile says: Cat Sanctuary Dad. Unyielding steel. Workouts, keto, cat chaos, anime rants. Godzilla, Gundam, Mazinger, Ultraman, classical art, manga.
If you hit your kids, you will create permanent emotional distance with the only person/people you could ever be that close to, not to mention sending them down the road of being as much of a lost fuckup loser as you are who will hit their own kids, or wont, but only after spending a decade figuring out why they reflexively apologize all the time.

Complete capital freedom: borrow against your assets with zero on-chain trace linking back to you.

TWO PROTOCOLS, ONE PATTERN
Today we discuss @fraxfinance and @protocol_fx.
Two independent DeFi protocols that Convex built on top of. Convex wrapped their ve-tokens to bring better yields to their LP holders.
That's the partnership. Let's break it down.
