AI data centers are gross because they require a vast amount of potable water for cooling. They lose most of this water to evaporation. The remaining water contains concentrations of minerals, salt, and dissolved solids. It eventually gets treated and dumped into municipal water treatment plants. Even though the earth over covered with water, less than 1% is potable. Water, along with electricity, will be a resource humans will have to compete with data centers for. Which will have priority, humans or data centers?

It amazes me that we carry the world’s knowledge in our pockets, yet so many people still choose to be dumber than a doorknob.

Scared shitless about being investigated 🤣
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

#History #RomanLegion #AncientRome The Roman legion was not feared simply because its soldiers carried swords and shields. Its real strength was discipline. A legion could march for miles, build a fortified camp before nightfall, hold formation under pressure, and then fight as one organized force. Every soldier had a place in the line. Every shield protected more than one man. Rome did not conquer its world through one great battle alone. It did it through training, engineering, logistics, roads, walls, and legions that could keep moving long after other armies had broken apart. The legion was Rome’s ultimate weapon—and its greatest symbol of order in a dangerous world.

This is a giant kick to the nuts.
Patrick Stewart, who will be remembered most for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86. variety.com/2026/tv/news/pat…

Hey @covrprice, you need to fix your website. When looking at the price data for a RAW regular cover of ABSOLUTE BATMAN #1, it shows the last sale was $100. The date of that sale? October 14, 2026. When I click on "View Sales," it takes 30,000 ms for the page to load.

Evidently someone looked at the price and decided they weren’t going to pay it. Nope. #hotwheels #diecast #thievery #walmart

Tonight at 6:30PM eastern, a ToyTuber will tell their fellow ToyTubers they need to give their mouths a rest. Until I learn otherwise, I'm betting he's referring to The Junk Man. @ThatJunkman youtube.com/live/QPWVroIkYwE

It should not be up to one human being which nationalities are and are not welcome in this country. We were designed with a diffused system power-wise (to protect us all) and seem to have forgotten this. Do we still teach this in American schools?

This is the first time I’ve seen a sealed box of Magic: The Gathering cards at Target. Sure, I’ve seen Bundles, and before that, Fat Packs, but nothing like this.

Who invented the exclamation mark + question mark? Not only did this punctuation combo not exist when I was in school, I feel like it didn't exist until the advent of content creators and click-bait. I can't think of other instances where it's used. This content creator wanted to shout "WALMAT STOPS SELLING SPORTS CARDS!" even though it's not true. I was just at Walmart. They were selling sports cards. So the content creator added a question mark at the end of their false statement. That way, it's not a lie. They're just asking a question. That makes it okay.

Nick Shirley. Let’s talk about this dickhead. Not one fucking case of fraud that he claims to have exposed has actually gone to trial as the result. Let me repeat that. Not one fucking case of fraud that he claims to have exposed has actually gone to trial as the result.

It's hard to believe that a truck containing PSA graded cards worth over a million dollars could just sit unattended for 60 - 90 minutes. If this is true, I'm shocked this hasn't happened before. How incredibly sloppy. #PSA #FedEx
JUST IN: Police have confirmed more than 200 packages filled with PSA-graded cards valued at nearly $1 million were stolen from a FedEx truck. Value is expected to rise as more packages are investigated. Details are free to read on @TheAthletic: nytimes.com/athletic/7705932…

This is extremely short-sighted on the part of homeowners. If you want your home to retain value, you should want good public schools, well maintained roads, and functioning water and sewer systems in your community.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?” Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century. politico.com/news/magazine/2…

I’ll be honest: I’m a little frustrated that I can’t vote for Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. That’s on me. I chose to live in Maryland instead of Michigan.😄 He strikes me as incredibly smart, remarkably articulate, and a kind and decent man. That he’s Muslim is, to me, a plus. Considering how many Muslims there are in the world, having one serve as a U.S. Senator would be a superpower.
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.
