My High School Coach is LAZY‼️ I hear this a lot and quickly educate the parent this way: Your HS coach has to coach Football, Track, plus Wrestling Has 220 students and those parents to keep happy and take care of. Papers to grade for 2 hours a night. Early AM weight room duty (unpaid) Plus, kids of his own at home that he hasn’t seen in 4 months and a wife who’s stressed to the max because she’s a single mom most of the year. Lazy…I think not. The system isn’t set up for you to have a full-time non-stop hands on personal wrestling coach like the college men and women have. It’s called HS athletics. So go easy on them…they’re likely putting in a lot more hours a week than 95% of America is.
