We were nearly killed two days ago. Settler-terrorist Tomer Liani bashed my head against the ground repeatedly, then the IDF and police blocked the ambulances and prevented hospitalisation. All because we caught the settlers locking locking a gate to more than 20 Palestinian communities, trapping entire families. We exposed Tomer Liani, Shimon Atia and Nevo Nadalski directly committing crimes against humanity in Masafer Yatta, and we were punished by the Israeli police and court for this. Israeli state terrorism in the West Bank is at its peak, and the authorities are doing everything to keep Palestinian voices silent.

Yesterday, I watched Naza. I did not go to learn what had happened in Gaza. I am from there. I am one of the victims of this war, one of its witnesses, and one of those who have paid a price that will not end when the war does. I did not need a film to tell me how entire neighborhoods were wiped away, how residential buildings were bombed with the people still inside them, or how families were forced to leave their homes without knowing where they were supposed to go. Nor did I need anyone to tell me about the famine. I lived through it twice, with all its humiliations, down to the smallest detail. Or about the starving people who were killed while trying to reach what were so absurdly called “food distribution centers.” I know all of this. I was there. Congratulations to Judge Navi Pillay on the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. 🇵🇸🕊️ She listened to us. She recognized our struggle as Palestinian human rights defenders when much of the world chose silence. As head of the UN Commission of Inquiry, she had the courage to name the genocide being committed against our people in Gaza. For us, this prize honors that courage and the truth she refused to soften. From Hebron, thank you, Judge Pillay. Justice and international law must stand with the oppressed. 🚨 The West Bank is on fire due to the upcoming election and the olive harvest. Over a dozen attacks were recorded just TODAY. I personally witnessed two in the village of al-Mughyier alone. The settlers are enjoying full support of the IDF.

JUST IN: ICELAND FM ON NETANYAHU: “We have heard the words "moral cowards" from this podium. To me, moral cowards are those who refuse to sit down and negotiate just and lasting peace. Those leaders who deny access to humanitarian aid for people in desperate need. And moral cowards are those leaders of the world who repeatedly go against and disrespect international law. We must not allow the horrors in Ukraine and the Middle East to make other crises invisible.”

Sweden is committing more than €100 million to a sweeping classroom overhaul: replacing tablets and screens with traditional printed textbooks to help reverse falling student performance and sharpen focus. After more than a decade of embracing digital-first education, Swedish authorities are now pivoting back to paper-based learning. Official data and recent studies cited by the Ministry of Education show that prolonged screen use in class has been linked to shorter attention spans, weaker reading comprehension, and reduced critical-thinking abilities. Research consistently finds that reading on illuminated screens requires greater mental effort and invites more distractions compared to the calm, linear experience of physical books—factors believed to have contributed to declining academic outcomes in recent years. Under the new plan, every student will receive printed textbooks for all core subjects, restoring books as the central learning tool. Digital devices and online resources will remain available as supportive tools, but they will no longer dominate daily instruction. This bold €100+ million investment signals Sweden’s leadership in rethinking the role of technology in education. It underscores a broader, growing recognition worldwide: while screens provide speed and access, the hands-on, distraction-free engagement of physical books supports deeper concentration, stronger memory retention, and more effective long-term learning. By choosing paper over pixels, Sweden is charting a path toward a more balanced, evidence-informed classroom future—one that puts proven pedagogical principles ahead of unchecked digital trends.

The international community has failed Palestine. When the true horrors in Gaza are revealed, it will shame the world. Nobody can say we did not know, so let it not be said we did not act. A two-state solution is the only path to peace and security for all.

AGAIN: I implore diplomats and UN personnel present in Palestine, conscientious Israelis, and anyone who can, to go to the West Bank and to peacefully be there, where Palestinian communities are. Protective presence is absolutely needed.

A mob of 60+ Israeli settlers attempted to steal Louay Adli’s home in the West Bank as he was still inside it, throwing stones from all sides for over an hour. Once Louay exited, Israeli police blindfolded and arrested him before warning him to never return home. cnn.com/2026/08/30/middleeas…
