Dad has dementia. Sometimes he drifts into another world and I feel like I’m losing him. He is never more present, however, than when he plays the piano.
He came to mine today and I asked him to play one of his compositions. He thought he wouldn’t be able to remember it.
Looking forward to the @SVP_Ireland conference in sunny Limerick today. Privileged to be speaking about @CharityRetail

Very interesting meeting of the Charity Tax Commission reference group @NCVO last night. Some very beneficial recommendations in the offing which would be of great benefit to @CharityRetail if they come to pass.
Robert Jenrick, Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury talking to the @CharityTaxGroup conference. Mentioned the @CharityRetail Gift Aid de minimis and that the reduction in business rates for small properties is being welcomed by charity shops. True!
