I don’t think the internet needs another person pretending to know exactly what happens next. I’m here to share how I think about markets, AI, data and the world changing around us. I’ll get things right. I’ll get things wrong. I’ll change my mind when the facts change. The goal isn’t to look smart every day. It’s to understand a little more than I did yesterday. No signals. No certainty. Just my perspective. Think freely. Decide for yourself.

72 hourly rollovers. Zero failures. No manual intervention. Ascend and M1X Global just completed an institutional repo on Stellar. A sovereign bond was used as collateral to borrow USDC. The numbers: 35 seconds to book the trade. 72 automated rollovers across 3 days. Collateral returned within 2 minutes of repayment. Chainlink's new USDC Data Feed provided pricing for the USDC leg. Not another tokenization proposal. An actual financing trade running through the weekend. $LINK

The next major customer for Chainlink might not be a bank. It might be an AI agent. Chainlink for Agents is already in beta. AI agents can access verified market data, execute DeFi workflows, move assets across chains and pay for services automatically using USDC through x402. No API keys. No subscriptions. Pay per call. $LINK infrastructure is being built for a world where software uses financial services on its own.

For context, Chainlink for Agents has been in beta since August. The technology isn't new, but the potential is worth watching. The real test is whether AI-agent activity eventually translates into meaningful usage and revenue for Chainlink.

Chainlink just expanded what CRE can do on Solana. Until now, CRE could write transactions to Solana. As of October 19, it can also: Read verified onchain data. React to events emitted by Solana programs. Trigger automated workflows from those events. A Solana event can now kick off a Chainlink workflow automatically. $LINK infrastructure is moving well beyond price feeds.

Franklin Templeton is finding a new way to bring money into $BTC . Two new ETFs filed for Nasdaq: 95% US stocks 5% Bitcoin exposure Here's the twist. Regular and special stock dividends are systematically reinvested into Bitcoin exposure. The allocation gets rebalanced quarterly. Stock-market income becoming a source of Bitcoin demand. That's a different kind of adoption.

Strategy has spent almost 8x more buying back its own preferred shares than buying $BTC recently. Its last three weekly updates: $STRC buybacks: $561.8M $BTC purchases: $72.3M (851 BTC) And Strategy just raised its digital-credit securities buyback authorization to $3 BILLION. There's a lot more happening behind Saylor's Bitcoin purchases than the headlines suggest.

Something unusual is happening in $BTC options. Coinbase Institutional data: Dealer long-gamma exposure is in the 99th percentile since 2020, heavily concentrated at $80K. That positioning can keep volatility suppressed. But the largest negative-gamma concentration sits at $90K. If Bitcoin breaks above $90K, dealer hedging could actually accelerate the rally.

Chamath is out of his depth on $BTC "Break SHA-256 and drain Satoshi’s wallet" is a hell of a way to announce it. SHA-256: Naming a hash function doesn’t explain how you’d forge the signatures needed to spend those coins. Anthropic: The ECDSA research cited on your panel explicitly says it WASN’T a cryptographic break. Read the research. AI: You’re treating a possible future breakthrough like the outcome is already settled. Quantum: Exposed public keys are a real concern. You still haven’t established when an attack becomes practical. Upgrades: BIP 360 and BIP 361 are drafts. Getting protection agreed and deployed is the challenge. Your meeting joke proves nothing. Zero: A successful attack, failed defenses and permanent collapse are three separate assumptions. You jumped straight to the ending. You explained the short trade better than the hack. @chamath
🚨Chamath Palihapitiya believes Bitcoin will get hacked and go to ZERO. Chamath says if AI is aimed at crypto, the obvious target would be "Satoshi's wallet," to "drain the wallet and then go short." What's your take?

$BTC has a massive supply zone sitting overhead. New Coinbase Institutional research, citing Glassnode: 2.1 MILLION BTC last moved between $87.5K and $91.7K. That's roughly 10% of Bitcoin's supply concentrated in a $4,200 range. Those holders are underwater at current prices. A rally into that zone could bring serious selling pressure.

Bitcoin ETF demand is far more concentrated than it looks. Coinbase Institutional data since August 1: BlackRock IBIT: +$6.0B All other US spot $BTC ETFs combined: +$0.5B That's roughly 92% of net inflows coming from ONE fund. Meanwhile, stablecoin supply is $12.7B below its May peak. The buying is real. But it's nowhere near as broad as the headline ETF numbers suggest.

Sergey thinks people haven't figured out what DTCC's AppChain can do yet. They find out in November, when DTCC wants to open it for testing. Nadine made a point of it. This isn't just moving tokens between chains. It's automating the whole collateral process. $LINK Source @chainlink

$BTC liquidity update: Previous maps highlighted $79.8K–$80.2K as the next downside liquidity zone. BTC dropped to $79.75K, swept through it, then bounced toward $80.25K. The latest maps show overhead liquidity around $81.3K–$81.7K, with a larger concentration near $82.2K–$82.5K. More liquidity remains below around $79.3K–$79.6K. The downside sweep played out. Now watching whether $BTC reclaims $81K or heads lower again.
$BTC liquidity update: Previous map highlighted $80.7K–$81K, with more liquidity near $80K. BTC pushed lower to $80.43K and is now trading around $80.66K. The latest maps show significant liquidity below around $79.8K–$80.2K. Meanwhile, overhead liquidity is building around $81.5K–$82K, with a larger concentration at $82.3K–$82.7K. The downside hunt has extended. Watching whether $80.4K holds or price moves deeper toward $80K.

Altcoin leverage is showing a strange divergence. Glassnode data: Late September: ~25% of alts had funding above neutral. October 21: Less than 5%. Yet open interest was only ~5% below its October peak, adjusted for price. The bullish bets have cooled off, but most of the positions are still there. One sharp move could catch a lot of traders off guard.

The part I agree with is that Bitcoin should take future cryptographic risks seriously. But "AI breaks SHA-256, Satoshi’s wallet gets hacked, Bitcoin goes to zero" skips a lot of steps. Stealing coins is mainly about breaking signatures/private keys, not simply breaking SHA-256. And if cryptography ever gets that badly compromised, Bitcoin won’t be the only thing with a problem. Banks, governments, exchanges and half the internet will be dealing with the same mess. It’s a real risk worth preparing for. I just don’t buy the straight line from that to Bitcoin going to zero. $BTC

Chamath’s argument had three parts: Bitcoin may have an upper bound. There are privacy/security risks around visible crypto wealth. And there’s the AI/cryptography risk. He then argued Bitcoin should move toward quantum resistant cryptography, but he doubts the community could coordinate a major upgrade quickly enough. That’s what led to the "eventually it gets hacked and goes to zero" line.

$BTC barely moved in 24 hours. But something changed underneath. Binance BTC/USDT perpetuals: Price: $81,649 → $81,651 Open interest: 95,561 → 92,553 BTC That's 3,008 BTC in open interest disappearing, roughly $245M in notional value. Price almost unchanged. Positioning down 3.15%. A quiet reduction in exposure without a directional breakout.
